Chelsea Transfers

Tbf signing De Jong, another CB and another attacker would be a pretty impressive window. Depending on who those other 2 were to be, it could be an incredible window to be fair. Thats not even taking into consideration sales.

Levi Colwill going to Brighton on loan as well is also a massive coup as opposed to on a permanent deal.

On Redknapp and De Jong thing - he’s not saying anything that hasn’t already been reported. If FdJ leaves Barca he wants his deferred wages paid, to go to a CL team and he apparently appreciates the idea of living in London much more than Manchester….. so aye wouldn’t say that Redknapp's letting a top top top secret bit of information slip.

Don't see any reason for Harry to lie, no skin in this for him.

HR is a bit of a muppet but one thing he isn't is a attention seeking whore like those supposed ITK's on Twitter.

I suspect he has actually been told this, however whether it is true or not is another matter.

Didn't sound to me like he was misrepresenting what he heard. It's only a matter of whether his ManU contact told him the truth.

I don’t think he’s lying, I just feel like he’s probably been reading the same stuff we have regarding De Jong preferring Chelsea. I doubt he’s got any inside info.

Redknapp I think is saying this from a United perspective that it's Chelsea over United for De Jong.

The bigger question is whether De Jong would come here over staying at Barcelona.

January window after Barca has treated him like crap.

Exaggerating shall we say. Maybe getting a bit carried away since he’s speaking publicly and wanted to get people talking about him.

Well more information will come out at some point and we might be able to gauge Redknapp's comments a bit better.

Meanwhile, I'm more excited about this potential transfer than any other so far this summer. I'd have been excited about a few that were mooted if I'd been able to convince myself they were real and the De Jong links have been in the same boat. Until now that is. Now, I admit that I can't help but hope based on Redknapp's comments.

Going to be incredibly difficult to pry him away from Leicester and you’d have to think if there’s any slim possibility we have to move quickly before Newcastle comes back in for Maddison for a third time. They won’t sell both. We need to offer a monster fee and we need a transfer request.

Couple of reports today that Leicester are trying to tie Maddison down to a new contract which would hopefully dispel such an issue.

I still think Fofana is going to be incredibly difficult, and like you said, I think it will hinge on just how much he pushes for this himself.

We will sign Wesley Fofana...

Going to be a fire sale surely with our excess players. By my count, we have the following that are knocking around the first team that need to go:

Kepa

Baba

Sarr

Alonso

Emerson

Barkley

RLC

Ziyech

That is before you get to the likes of Pulisic and Werner who you have to believe want to leave.

How do you move players out without getting rid of them ?

Think what he means is that yes, some players will leave (I’m guessing Tielemans?) but that his very best players he wants to keep at all costs.

So now we wait to see if the club hierarchy can turn down gigantic money with the financial trouble they’re apparently in.

The difficult is to persuade Leicester to sell .If fofana  send transfer request and Leicester don’t want to sell then nothing will happen .

He removed from his bio Leicester on Twitter ,he wants to come but you need only a big bid .

Ronaldo  wants to leave but for Manchester United is not for sale ..

it’s up to Leicester and only

Add Batsman, Kenedy, Ampadu and Gilmour. A lot of work to do, but it will be a nice meal at the end of the day :D
