I am sure I am not the only one thinking why have we not made any arrangement to either loan or sell Malang Sarr. The guy just cannot defend and I would be devastated if Touchel lets Levi Colwill go and keep Sarr. From the little I have seen Colwill is fsr superior to Sarr. That said I am very concerned we have not made any reinforcements to our defence.

It sounds like Barca have convinced de Jong to go to Man Utd and they now have their Lewa money.

No they haven’t. They just agreed transfer fee. This was always going to be the case. It’s whether De Jong wants to go given Barca still owe him wages.

The meeting today in Barcelona with Man Utd was about the 17m owed to de Jong to seal the deal. You know Man Utd will pay it to get this done. They have no plan B.

Or their Raphinha money?

What is slightly worrying for me, is zero interest in any defensive minded midfielders.

Last season teams were running through our mid as if we had none on the field.

Hence why I have zero sympathy for Tuchel if the same happens this season. Our midfield lacks so much physicality and aggression it’s bewildering why we are allegedly waiting for only Rice to address this.

I get we have conor coming back but we need more. J5 is embarrassing when caught on the counter. I cannot belive for the life of me why we would go into another season with that as the primary option.

I agree. Zero sympathy for me and I’m done hearing the injuries excuse. Bissouma ran circles against us. Home and away. It was pathetic.

The longer the time goes on it seems that the assurances that de Jong wants to join Man Utd is only from Barca. The player negotiations have not begun.

Shame, thought the window cleared up for us to bid for De Ligt. Bayern going all out spending 75m on a defender is odd and I don't think anyone saw this coming.

Because many ppl here still underestimated Bayern's financial power. 3 years ago they even paid €80m for Lucas Hernandez lol.

Several defenders are being followed by Juventus, should Matthijs De Ligt leave. Number one on the list is still Kalidou Koulibaly. They are also interested in Gabriel Magalhaes, Gleison Bremer, Benoit Badiashile and Pau Torres.
