Atomiswave 6,117
Good luck to Zouma, was a good servant of the club and a big humor in the dressing room....he calls everyone " kali " which means a loser if im not wrong. And I must salute Marina, she has played a blinder the last 2 seasons, how the fuck did she convince Sevilla to part with Kounde for such a low fee? Get Saul and we are proper for sure Muzchap

Magic Lamps 11,692
30m for Zouma is less than his T-markt guesstimation, don't really like that, should have milked them for 40 but I guess they knew we were desperate to move him. I think we did ourselves no favours here being so indiscrete with the Kounde pursuit. We have enough CBs even without Zouma, so we could have Chalobah's emergence as smokescreen. I just guess it is more difficult to keep things undercover these days.

I was checking Drinkwater's market value from the time we bought him, and according to T-markt he was only worth 15 million after orchestrating Leicester to arguably the greatest upset in sports history. Lol maybe but he was not really rated any higher by KPMG either. A PL-proven international class CB with a loaded trophy cabinet at the best footballing age would fetch at least 40m in a pre-Covid environment. It seems only the aboslute top clubs are not benefitting from corona in the prices they need to pay.
Stats 7,147
If we get Kounde for £42m, then great business but what is the catch? Did they not reject a similar bid including Zouma in the deal few weeks ago? They were holding out for release clause too. With bonuses does the deal rise to possibly near £60m, because I would like to know what has convinced them into giving in for the reported fee which is a lot less. lucio 5,418
Let’s hope so , his decline in form isn’t to do with injury problems afaik. Hopefully just needs a change of scenery to revitalise him. Would be a great signing potentially , left footed , long range goal threat and obviously very capable defensively from playing under simeone Muzchap
DH1988 1,348
I think the Saul loan is just brilliant, Kova turned out great for us, and it leaves the door open for Rice next summer. Saul works his socks off and is a real player for us, permanent transfer, if not, cya. Especially with our midfield being short on numbers and the amount of games we have to play. If we pull this off and the Kounde deal for £42m, that’s just great business, even though I made my feelings known toward Kounde ie. I don’t rate him, I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.
