Tuchel has already proved that this Chelsea team can quite easily beat the top teams. We could have been returning to London with a victory tonight if it weren't for the red card.

It is the lower league teams that we need to keep collecting victories if we are serious about our title challenge.

I don't agree with the sending off of the last player in penalty situations.
True, next time this happens it will be to our advantage but if you  think about it logically it's not fair.
Suppose James handled (which he did n't). You give the penalty, the player stays in.
Suppose he made a professional foul. A rugby tackle, embraces the opponent. But this is a yellow card offense, why different logic ?
Only if the defender makes a vicious foul should be a possible red.

Kovacic was absolutely brilliant when he came on second half. Christensen getting better and better. He was on the field from beginning so can see why pundits gave him MOTM but Kovacic done so well in keeping the ball, and his ability to play himself out of difficult situations is really underestimated. Will take that. Almost feels like 3 points.

Seeing that second half resilience and mentality with 10 men against a real top attacking team in a hostile atmosphere is more satisfying than anything else.

Remember how we capitulated against West brom last season with 10 men.

This feels like a moment which signals we're ready to fight for the title this season.

West Brom was different.
We went down 2-1, had to play attack when we had to play defense !
We were lost at sea.
Also WBA enjoyed a spell of good form those days.

From another forum:

Back to the decision

the rule was changed for exactly this situation, it struck his leg first then his arm. Yes he moved his arm but that was a natural movement of anything to move his arm out the way. If he was trying to save the goal it would have been his hand that moved towards the ball
