Sarri's team selection last night nearly sent my Pugs into an early grave but qudos for coming out swinging. He is right about this group of players. They are weak and without a leader on the pitch and in the dressing room. Zero footballing I.q. amongst them, It's beyond my disbelief, it really is. Sarri must watch these twats on the ball and think, "wtf is this shit". Compare this to his Napoli dons and it is terrifying in comparison. Like for like the players of Naples are lightyears ahead of ours and they probably didn't cost half as much. I'm not to say Sarri isn't to blame for recent results because he is most certainly is. Picking a donkey like Alonso when we have a more dynamic Emerson on the bench is weird considering the flexibilty required from one to play in Sarris system. Willian is just an absolute disgrace at times and the Hazard in a false 9 position is obviously not working and that could been seen before yesterdays game. Our fans are acting as if these problems are new. They were there before Sarris arrival. Morata was a huge gamble which didn't pay off. Wilian has been stealing a wage for as long as I can remember and the center of our midifeld has been toothless for years. Hazard has been surrounded by mediocrity since the departure of DRogs and Lamps ect. Our recruitment has been horrific in all hoensty. The board should take a loong hard look at their own work before looking at Sarris and take responsibility for this shambles. The only players I can think we have legitimately replaced like for like since the CL winning squad is the GK, Kante and we upgraded the Right back in Azpi. We did ok with Costa but he let us down with his piss poor attitude more often than not. Other than that every single area bar Hazard has been downgraded with average players who don't have an elite mentality. It doesn't matter what manager is at the reings, until these fruads are replaced and our board recruits elite talent then we will never see sustained success.

EPL is fast and furious, rough and tough. SAri balls doesnt help much either focusing too much on Jorghino. When he is marked out , Chelses flopped.. He was effective at the beginnig but now all teams knew how to marked him out. Sari selection too is at fault. No change of youngster playing even those old chaps played badly. And the board buying players too, all making wrong decisions. Right now chelsea doesnt have wing attack, midfield attack and assist .  Zappacosta dribbles and supply balls to the centre ,Funny though , he is not playing. We dnt have Lampard anymore ,givng at least 15 goals per season constantly for 10 years. Got to let go many old chaps. And Abromovick, please sell Chelsea before things get worse. Now SARI is blaming the players at news conference. OOOH oohoh   issue up again , Chelsea wont be playing CHAMPION LEAGUE fooltball next season again.

yes the players have their share of the blame, but its Sarri's job to detect any mistake and make adjustments that benifit the team, he's the one in training with the players,  this guys just keeps blaming the players instead of looking at his own faults, he is the one who keeps playing the same dross week in week out expecting different results when its as clear as daylight its not working, plays Hazard in false 9, plays Kante out of position, insists on playing his two darlings Willian and Alonso, etc... and he has the nerve to say the players aren't ready for a tactical change, are you fucking kidding me? maybe its you that is not ready to change because you are too coward, stubborn and self-assured to move out of your confort zone to try new things, these group of players have played in different systems before with previous managers and won titles, so don't give us those lame excuses, no wonder this guy hasn't won a trophy yet, any top manager makes tweaks if something is not working, but this crackpipe smoker is too blinded by smokescreen to do anything. I think people already forgot the articles describing Sarri profile before he joined Chelsea. The one thing that he was criticised at Napoli was lack of rotation in the squad and sticking to the same starting XI.

He has a point about the mentality thing but on the other hand, you gotta ask, has Sarri done anything to try and change that? For starters, he hasn't created any sort of competition between the players to keep them on their toes, to ensure they perform to the max or otherwise, they're out of the team. No, he keeps selecting the same team no matter how badly they play before and if he keeps doing that, how does he expect the players to be strong mentally, to play at 100% and not fall into the complacency side? He has basically been making the same mistakes we criticized Mourinho and Conte for in the past, sticking with the same under-performing players and same tactics, formations that aren't working. So, it's a tad hypocrite of Sarri to come out and complain about mentality when he keeps making the same mistakes week in week out and expect things to go differently. Also, feels like this mentality factor is a convenient excuse for him to use and not claim any responsibility. Have you noticed how he has always blamed the players' mentality after almost every defeat this season? It's never about his tactics or team selection, it's always about the players. It's straight out of Mourinho's playbook - never their fault, always someone else's. He should look at himself in the mirror and ask whether he is getting the message across to the players properly because it can't be the players' fault only if the same things keep on happening.

Just can't imagine what will happen to the players...  From matches i watched of Napoli, Sarri was  crazy as fk.. Here he seemed a calm guy till yesterday..

Mourinho, Conte and Sarri now. There is something wrong with these group of players or we appointing managers who nothing but a bullies.

Conte was the kind of manager who wasn't afraid to shout at players. Mourinho said he doesn't shout at players during HT team talk for example because he's won't be wasting time that he can use for giving players instructions to improve their game. He's known for criticising a player in front of other players because he consider the team a family so they should be open with themselves. One of the articles about Sarri painted a picture of manager who never had any problems with players... until he came to Chelsea.

People comparing this Chelsea to Sarri's Napoli clearly have only watched maybe a few Napoli matches those against Juventus and some Champions League ones. This Chelsea does not even come close to that Napoli, if Sarri had come here having Napoli play like Chelsea do now I would say yes the manager is at fault for this dull display we see now. But he had Napoli play beautiful football and improved all his players - during his time there Insigne was one of the most dangerous wingers in Europe, Higuain had a monster season with Sarri broke a record that was standing still for decades, Ghoulam top left back, Koulibaly one of Europe's most wanted defenders, Jorginho the perfect deep lying midfielder, Hamsik basically a perfect midfielder for 4-3-3 and I can go on and on and on. 

There is nobody to blame at the moment it is simply the fact players are bang average simply not good enough. Worst set of full backs, boring wingers and absolutely no threat from midfield. 

You watch City - the wingers provide width and the two central midfielders go close to the striker. Klopp uses his wingers close to Firmino while the full backs bomb forward. Sarri's wingers do nothing, no runs in behind, nothing, and the full backs are shite, Azpilicueta would not overlap to save his life and the two midfielders in front of Jorginho basically do nothing, they don't asisst, don't score, they are of ni threat for the opposition. 

This is going nowhere if Sarri has to work with duds that clearly fancy Mourinho/Simeone type of tactics or they are not good enough.

This is why I’m saying we should give Sarri time at the beginning of the season. The situation like this will come sooner or later. Higuain along with Fabregas replacement is coming and we will be better.

Top 4 is the priority, and last time I check we are still 4th and still in 4 competitions. So give him the players he wants and let’s see where we are at the end of season.

Also Sarri is the ideal manager from our boards perspective, so unless he failed to achieve all the targets after getting the players he demands, seems we will stick with him for some time.

Finish 5th be gone. Finish 4th..invest but results still poor be gone halfway.  There needs to be a plan b. 

Yesterday was just dire. Not sure what the aim was or the game plan or if there even was one.

Agree mate and I honestly believe that worse than the current state of this club is the fans' levels of expectations. Apart from a few players that you can count on one hand the others are Europa League stuff and no league title material. The cruel reality but it is the truth. 

Klopp had Clyne, Moreno, Lovren, Milner at left back, Emre Can, Lucas Leiva, Origi,Lallana,Alberto Moreno. Got rid of them all from the starting line up and improved on them. Guardiola the same, improved on the likes of Clichy, Kolarov, Sagna, Toure, Zabaleta etc.

It's a process and it needs time, Sarri only got one outfield player to fit his tactics (Jorginho) and a loanie that personally I don't see why Chelsea would buy. Others are from the Mourinho and Conte times and I don't think they can be polished anymore, there are big levels of complacency in this squad, the club simply needs to let go of a lot of them and bring new blood in.
