It's just me or we started fucking up after THAT "boring boring" game when Mourinho started to take everything personal and kinda stopped using the park the bus style of play (which i believe it suited us better) and started to slate the teams and managers

Those who are calling for Mourinho to get the boot are not doing so solely based on result alone but a cumulation of several things which have already being discussed many times on here. We are a sinking ship right ow and from past history and latest indication/evidence, jose seem incapable of steadying the ship. His idea of turning things around is to stick with the same starting eleven and players who are totally out of form. His tactics aren't yielding any positive results and performance either. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? i pose that question to you and other Jose apologist. Majority have simply lost confidence in his ability to turn things around due to his stubbornness, delusional tendencies, favoritism, outdated tactics and previous history (3rd season syndrome) which are all legitimate reasons.

Exactly. Somehow I do not want him to get axed, because I dread the club to be once again in a managerial merry-go.

Even though, the time will come — probably sooner than later — when we will have to part our way with him. And to be honest, I think he just has a few games to get things right. Unlike Manchester United, we cannot afford to undergo a few dark years. We neither are a major brand nor have we that "history" to fall back upon. To stay at the top, we are heavily dependant to successful results. A year without CL football could prove to be catastrophic for us — especially if that happens after a season dotted with fiasco such as what happened with Carneiro, i.e. a very bad publicity for the club. Moreover, comes May, Manchester City will most certainly have as many PL trophies in their cabinet as us... Just let that sink in... Our rank within English football could take a huge damage...

We clearly have to make things happen — and quickly. However all the odds are against Mourinho here. First off, his past history advocates against him : his first stint at this club, and his spell at Real... and as for Inter one could say he left the ship before it sank. Furthermore, our troubles are not new. They are visible since the start of the calendar year — and I put emphasis upon the notion "visible", as they existed long before that. Though, nothing has been done last season ; the situation was not addressed this summer, quite the contrary ; and nothing is being done to change things right now, i.e. same line-up and mentality/tactics over and over again.

Bearing that in mind, one could certainly wonder is the right manager for the futur. And by that I mean both the end of the seasons and forthcoming seasons. Whether you like it or not, his position at the club has to be questionned. Regardless of the results, if he is not even able to change his intents, whether it be the strategy, the style of play, the tactic or the starting line-up... Then he does not left the club with many choices but to sack him...

To play the kind of football we aspire to play, we need better fullbacks and more technical fullbacks à la Filipe Luis. Azpilicueta and Ivanovic ain't good enough for that kind of play. Anyone who saw United - Liverpool yesterday witnessed how Shaw and Darmian completely bossed the game. Our fullbacks do not play like that.

I hope Baba is given some real chances soon but still I can't get my head around the selling of Luis. A huge mistake not to play him and then selling him away because of it. Selling Bertrand is another mistake which should have not happened considering the lack of academy products in the squad. With an attacking minded coach Bertrand could have reached new highs if he was given a real chance to play with Hazard, Matic and the co.

This. The lack of an offensive threat our FB give us is a joke. Azpi has done well in the LB position but really for a top club wanting to compete for the UCL and keep on being a formidable domestic team, we really should be having natural full backs in the RB and LB position. Ivanovic is not a natural RB. Azpi is a right footed RB playing at LB. Everyone goes on about how good of a defensive player he is. Yeah, he is but then what does he give us going forward for majority of season? Not much. I was looking at the Arsenal highlights yesterday and the amount of times Monreal and Bellerin in particular provided natural attacking width was just amazing. They were excellently defensively too. Then you just see what Kolarov and Sagna have been providing City this season. United's game against Liverpool, how many times did Shaw and Darmian get down those flanks as you said. Also, both had excellent defensive games.

Having Ivanovic and Azpi as FB should be a short term solution. Not a long term one. When Azpi first started taking over Cole's role there I thought it would be temporary until we get a natural LB. We get Luis and Azpi still keeps playign at LB when Luis is a quality LB. Then we sell him for what? Absolutely ridiculous. Just why did Mourinho buy him to barely play him then get rid off? It is why I was so pissed off to see Bertrand leave. A natural attacking LB who is defensively sound and is from our academy and we let him go. Then to top it off, Shaw who is a fantastic LB when fit and will turn out to be one of the world's best went to United and he is a Chelsea fan. Someone like that should be in our team. Not a right footed player at LB ffs.

It worked for us in the league last season but seriously the lack of attacking width from our FB is not only setting us back in the league, it will set us back in the longer stretch in Europe. Teams are figuring us out. They know our offensive play from CB to FB are poor so we give to Hazard to work magic. Literally one-dimensional.

i honestly think dropping iva WILL solve a LOT of problems. how can a RB not stop crosses from coming in? 12 goals in 5 games and atleast 10 of them were directly involved by iva. how can a RB just stand 6 yards off a player and let him shoot the way iva let naismith did yesterday. goals change matches and while our attack may seem lack lustre, we always seem to be chasing a game which is never easy. and most of this chasing is down to iva.

torres did start the bulk of games and we were still competent. but the point is that a striker can miss 5 sitters and score one goal and still be the match winner. a moment's lapse from a defender changes the whole game. i dont think thats comparable. the problem currently is iva or rather jose. if he cant atleast drop iva from the team. then like i have been saying since the WBA game, he needs to leave.

Honestly I believe dropping Iva will improve our defence, with the way he's playing it would be hard not too , but it would only take us so far.

We wouldn't concede 12 goals in 5 games if the other three in the defence were on point, no matter how bad Iva was playing, Terry and Cahill have been average at best, awful at worse, Zouma has been showing inexperience lately and even Cesar is starting to lose 1 on 1 battles which is unheard off, dropping Iva will be a start,but we got a lotof work to do on this back four.

And about Torres (manpe this is my response to you aswell so you don't think I'm ignoring you) he was holding us back loads, he was useless unless he scored and that was once in 5 and a half games, a 33 year old Eto'o was a breath of fresh air in comparison.

I want Mourinho to stay till the end of the season. Klopp and any other top manager would think that we did not give him enough time if we sack him before May. With every sacking it gets harder to convince managers to come here.

everton - seriously? baba plays for ghana and now is surprisingly "injured" or "not ready".

the players are performing abysmally cos they have lost the motivation to play. what is cesc's motivation. do you remember his expression after the palace game when we won the PL? it was as if he had attained nirvana. you could see what it meant to him.

after reaching that level, players need to be re-motivated. how exactly has jose gone on to do that? by playing them match after match irrespective of how poor they have been.

iva has been dreadful. sometimes, a player out of form adn short on confidence just needs to be given a break. why the hell is iva playing 90 minutes of every game?

what should be remy's motivation when he takes the pitch next time? he knows irrespective of how he performs, he is going to be dropped even if costa is half fit.

i beg to differ. i just cant see us having half the problems we have been having with iva. if azpi is playing as RB, i dont think we concede half the goals we have conceded. both swansea goals, 2 against city, both wba goals, 2 goals yesterday and both palace goals. all of them involved iva straight.

yes torres was fucking us up. hence we were struglling to get 4th. we became a europa league level team. i think my point stands. u cant have a fullback standing 6 yards off the winger and letting him cross the ball. as and when he wants to. u cant have a full back getting skiined multiple times a game. u cant have a CM like cesc protecting a FB like iva.

Well Mourinho, for one, was not able to sign his number 1 targets in the summer. We were after John Stones and Abdennour as our primary targets in the transfer windows as full backs. We had to settle down signing second tier players like Papy Djilobodji. Mourinho has been a victim of the transfer window, not working for him. Yes I agree, his love for Iva is actually getting annoying but who else is he going to play? Baba Rahman? Unproven still.

Listen, every manager has these moments where nothing is working out. It happened with Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti, Hiddink, you name it. Mourinho should not be sacked for the form of our attacking players like Hazard or Cesc. Only Pedro has been decent. The fans need to work closely with Jose, and put faith in him. Listen, this man has won us 3 titles of the 4 PL titles we've won. This man is Chelsea, and it's disgusting to see fickle fans treat him like this. We Chelsea fans need to learn from Dortmund fans. They were in relegation zone for 2 months under Klopp but still trusted him.

NOBODY is better than him, in terms of managing Chelsea. He knows best and I have faith in him still. Name me ONE manager that can take over Chelsea tomorrow and bring success. No one would.

1. I did not say he should be sacked. It has always been my stand that only Pep could replace him but the catalan hates us for some reason. But he deserves the lion share of the blame for this mess.

• He is responsible for the late start to the pre-season preparation (he could have done something about it).
• He is responsible for playing Ivanovic over and over regardless of his poor performance (BTW, yeserday, he played Mikel to cover Iva's big ass)
