Fernando 6,585
I wonder if United fans ever thought that about Fergie, maybe they wanted a man with a bit more class, if they did they got their wish the season after he retired with disastrous consequences. And I think SAF was an anomaly that won't be repeated in ages.Mourinho now is like what Capello is to the world.Capello was amazing years ago, now his a shade of his former self. And most managers are like that. Have a great period of management that last an amount of years.Very few are like SAF that can out think and outgrow the new wave and times. We are making a big mistake giving plenty of time to a man a shade of his former self. Popular Post! Special Juan 28,146 Posted October 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 2, 2015 One of the biggest problems I have with all this is, Jose of old would never ever allow a player to drop so much in form and not drop that player. A lot of the players are really under performing, but to keep allowing by far the worst performing player in the team to continue to play, points the finger right at Jose. This also sits inside, and quite prominent to the same guy being given the VC armband, it was just the wrong fucking thing to do, to the wrong person when there was so many more candidates with leadership qualities.Right now our boss is very stale, so is the team, something has to give. I'm sorry if this doesn't fit with certain peoples agendas around here, but this is the truth. Even Fergie went through bad periods and he still managed to bounce back each time and become one of the most successful managers in history. Mourinho certainly needs to change, adapt but it would take a lot more than the current situation to say he's past it.

Hopefully hes here cause I don't agree with mid season sacking. If you don't like him wait till the end and then have your replacement ready by then. Popular Post! Stingray 9,441 Posted October 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 2, 2015 Not really, seems a lot of hostility to the greatest ever Chelsea manager, most of which is media driven. Someone that people thought was superb last season, they need to realise class is permanent, form is temporary. I think its funny tbh. There are some though that obviously are not Chels, and are only interested in certain players. Thats the internet though aint it ?Ugh, the implied stuff. Dude, i dislike some of Mou's antics. But i love Chelsea. Still, your passive aggressive posts make it clear you think i am a plastic, even though I have been here for years. Do I like Hazard, of course, is it it a sin? He is indeed belgian, but he was our hest for a couple of years as well. Of course, its an interpretation, but some clarity on your part would be very helpfull. Now, i cant help but feel there is some hate, mate. It really bugs me btw. Especially because i do like ya. zolayes, couris, Belgiannutt and 3 others

Last Sicarius 610
After first loses i didnt think bad about Jose. But after this month when we didnt make any progress... Nah We didnt even make lots of changes in team. We have been sitting in place and didnt progress. Team hadn't got any motivation, any true spirit. We looked like 11 strangers men have been playing football... try playing. And that close keeping Ivanovic on right. grrr If we dont start winning JM may start worrying about his position... didierforever 7,349
But on a more serious note, Mourinho isn't crazy. He plays Ivanovic because he likes what he sees. Best RB. Major praise last season even though he was making mistakes all the time back then to.in that case... WE ARE SCREWED!!!

Jokesy 53
I actually think Mourinho won't start Ivanovic tomorrow. I'm 99% sure. When Mourinho praises a player (he still rates) that's seriously out of form before a match. That particular player usually doesn't start that match. It's more like a reverse psychology aimed at relieving pressure on that player in question and at the opposition tactics .Edited: Leif, stroey and laura90

Fernando 6,585
Makes sense. When the motivational aspect of his management wears thin there aren't tactics/systems to fall back on. Well here's the thing.@Jason, mentioned how he must evolved and adapt.I think this is true, especially of his attitude. His attitude that at one point in time was greatly known as motivational, today it ain't.However, he has some things that he can do. Either change his attitude right away which might not happen, or seriously take the road of youth.I think taking the road of youth might work because if he gambles on them and they become good, these young players will love him.Take a look at Lampard and Drogba. They was nothing before he came, but because he pushed them to be better these players later had big admiration for him.Now he tries to do the same to more established players or players with mad skills; It has been backfiring, it happened at RM and now is happening here.If Mourinho is to adapt and change, then the quickest solution that can eventually have great benefits in the long run is to do what he said before, play the young ones! lionsden 4,689
Who knew the key to getting away with gross incompetence was communication. Ivanovic has figured it all out, employees around the world need to learn the game. You can be bad at your job all you want, just as long as you discuss your terrible performance with the manager. Ivanovic just might be the greatest all time . didierforever, The Chels, Styles and 1 other
