The Mourinho Thread

yeah, I was expecting him never to get a managerial job ever again too, what a bastard

You did not get my point. Was talking about the United job in particular, right after he got the sack here. It's not like he's poor and starving and needs a job asap. Could easily take a sabbatical until summer, clear his head, stay with his father, detach from everything he's gone through in the last months and then start over next summer. United or Madrid, I don't care.

But now? That's suspicios if you ask me. It's like he's been waiting for this job for so long that he can't pass this opportunity. Also the sign of him looking for revenge should he take the job before our game at Old Trafford. You do not act like this with your loved ones, if indeed you love them. That's what sick people do, can't get over something and look to take revenge at the very first opportunity.

He's bashed the Chelsea fans enough last season to have me have 2nd thoughts about him. That's were the "Mourinho's right, you're fans are shite" chants came from and piss me off everytime I hear them. As I said, you don't do this to your loved ones, even if your target is to motivate them or stuff like this. Some have said that standing is allowed now because of him, but that's irrelevant. You can't hide the fact that he actually meant what he said.

Cech is one of us - we let him go to a rival but do you want to call him a wanker?

Lamps is one of us - we let him go to a rival but do you want to call him a wanker?

Mourinho is one of us - we let him go. There are precious few jobs around for a man of his calibre so do you want to call him a wanker for choosing one where he'll get the backing of the board?

Come on mate. Passions are running high but you don't mean it when you call him a wanker do you?

Did not call anybody a wanker. Put that emoticon to express the bullshit in "One of us" sentence.

:wank2: = "yeah, right...", "that's bullshit".

Fair enough. I disagree still but I see what you're saying.

You have to bear in mind the guy is a born competitor and a born winner. That's why he's had such success consistently across his career. You're expecting him to change his nature now and not get off the mat which is holding him to an impossible standard. You can't celebrate the guy for that one minute and then disparage him the next because we decided to sack him.

He was never going to slink off into retirement and there are maybe 3 jobs in the world that he could realistically be expected to take (Portugal, United, Real Madrid, maybe and Italian team....and that's it?).

That's a wanker sign fella...

Would prolonging the inevitable really make it any better?

I don't think it's like that mate anyway even if LvG gets sacked after their next match (whatever that is) Mourinho will not take over in tme for our game. At the very most he will watch from the stands.

Oh my! facepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.gif

It's a stressful time and people say things they don't mean, like when you called the fans at the match on Saturday 'plastic'. You didn't mean to call them that now did you? People will forgive you so why not afford others that same courtesy?

I did not directly call them 'plastic'. I said something down the lines of "talk about being plastic" considering that term is used frequently on the forum. And that came across more plastic than some of the things I see people accused for on here.

And anyway wiith the face in palm thing, there was nothing malicious in it. I don't agree but if instead of giving a reply where I slated him for that comment I put a face to express my feelings with a bit of humour intended with it mate ;)

Sturridge to Liverpool

Mata to Man United

Lampard to Man City

Cech to Arsenal

De Bruyne to Man City

Mourinho to Man United(?!!!)

I don't know what we did... but boy we surely got our part of mental beating the last few years!!

What's next?

Terry to Tottenham

Drogba to Arsenal

I don't know who's jinxing us... but I suggest he can stop now. Thank you

It is still a betrayal of sorts if he manages Utd IMO. I could only justify him going there if we had loads of "Jose out" banners and an obvious majority against him. But it's only a minority and a few people on the board who truly called for his head. If he manages United, he's using this sacking as an excuse, not justification.
