bluephoenix 1,135
I agree with your point of view. I was trying to say that once a player becomes frustrated at lack of opportunity, it's hard to convince them to stayThe manager should have handled the situation better through a proper rotation policy but he chose his favourites, and now we have no quality depth within the first-team squad Yes that is where the club and manager failed. They have the eye for getting the right talent but they don't do enough to make them a class player.
Lapo Blues 21
Well I can think if a few things.he defends the club practically like a fan. People want to moan that he always says the wrong things for a professional manager but won't accept that it's synonymous with him wearing his heart on his sleeve - like a fan does. Carlo, AVB, RDM, Benitez and Hiddink wouldn't speak about the FA'S consistency. Regardless of how far you agree only a fool will turn his back on how Mourinho gets fined for one interview while Wenger gets away with worse. Fans appreciate a manager who speaks out.every loss hits him like a fan. He's dejected, his face is the same as any blues fan after a defeat - your average manager simply takes it as a disappointing day.out of all the clubs he had, he could never stop talking about us. People getting butthurt about one comment on Inter should imagine what they and Madrid fans felt like having our name mentioned as much as he did.how many fans and managers have a relationship like most blues have with Jose? How many slap the club crest on their chest when they win? How many managers get teary when 40,000 chant his name on the first day of a season? The list goes on. Its funny when doubters want to have a good discussion on the pros and cons on him staying, yet when the Yes camp turn they eye on the bad it seems the no camp are just as stubborn to turn there eyes from the good.Agreed.Wenger is the real cunt in EPL for so long (11 years no EPL trophy?)Mou was just trapped to his own copycat victim of wengerism only to find out that it was failed.Mou is just try to be victimized ala wenger, but ended up in his antics "specialist of failures" ala Wenger to backfired on him mercilessly. ZOS 580
its not cowardly at all, that is like calling a boxer who fights as a counter puncher a coward, its a very risky way to play you have to rely on your team defending well as a unit and being able to be clinical and punish every mistake, you need big characters in your team to be successful playing that way, but we unfortunately dont anymore.I'm sorry mate, but this utter BS. Not taking the initiative even when you're at home, in need of a result can be nothing but cowardice. I am not sure if Jose should be sacked at this point but if he is, his disgraceful lack of courage when setting up his team against a half decent opponent should be the main reason... I mean, come on!.. I'm not sure about you but I don't want it to be Chelsea's identity to always be the passive one in big matches. I don't want that for the club I'm very fond of. Rhino's Skin 972
I reckon we should sack him during the international break. That way the new manager has time to settle down, meet his players, etc.meet his players......most will also be away with their respective countries

Not sure who made the call for them to sit back after 15 mins.......could have been JT once he realised that some of the forward and midfield were not tracking the runners. But what matters that it doesnt matter what system, what tactics, what individual responsibilities are asked of players......if anyone is just going through the motions and not giving a 100% because they dont like the tactics etc then they shouldnt be in the team/squad or worse case scenario...at this club
Popular Post! BlueLion. 21,491 Posted November 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2015 When you have dissident players, it is easier to fire one person than to sell and replace an entire squad. Hence why player power is so prevalent in the bigger clubs on the European circuit. I don't believe Mourinho is an angel, make no mistake, but he, and certainly not us, the fans, deserves better from the players. It is clear, for whatever reason, that they don't want to play for him. Well, in that case, perhaps it would be prudent to remind them they're not playing for Mourinho. They're playing for the 41,000 packed into Stamford Bridge, and the millions more around the world that crowd around radios and watch abysmal-quality illegal streams online. We're the ones being let down and it is about time that a senior player - Terry, I'm looking at you - takes control and takes some responsibility. This is not just Mourinho's fault. blues.bridge 343
or perhaps he just treated him like any other player at that time instead of special treatment for someone so new to the team....(not club)mou has never explained why I was not playing , because we talked about everything twice . The first was on the eve of the match against Basel in the Champions League in November , when I was getting better and said I had my chance .Now i don't say that KDb would have to play, but mou has to stop treating people and players in that way!Over KDB, take the case ivanovic ,where mou for a long time had prefered him becouse is one of his "faithful" without give a reason at all the players who are out of this circle! then the case "carneiro" ok, she was wrong, but mou has humiliated her publically ( instead to speaking after inside the club) only for saving himself for the result and the performance! Billy. 2,742
I think Roman should let him have his way in the January window. I know its harder to get players you want but you never know in football do you.And if we can get a decent finish like top 6 keep him on and let him build his team next summer.instead of sacking him and having to pay 35 million, why not let jose use that money to buy some players that want to fight for him?? I call it the 'January panic window' Once again should never ever got as bad as this, but we decided to penny pinch the fucking life out of the summer window and now look. I'm not saying it's all about us not spending but by god has it contributed massively to this mess. We have the money so fucking spend it, identify early, do deals in relevant times and do not go all auction bidding on teams. The Stones saga was a prime example of this, came in late, started at 20M or whatever it was and we looked like the dog waiting next to it's master for the last bone.Front to back it's completely broken, not even a scatter gun January window is going to help. bethos1, Belgiannutt, Hybrid Angel and 6 others
