Well I can think if a few things.

he defends the club practically like a fan. People want to moan that he always says the wrong things for a professional manager but won't accept that it's synonymous with him wearing his heart on his sleeve - like a fan does. Carlo, AVB, RDM, Benitez and Hiddink wouldn't speak about the FA'S consistency. Regardless of how far you agree only a fool will turn his back on how Mourinho gets fined for one interview while Wenger gets away with worse. Fans appreciate a manager who speaks out.

every loss hits him like a fan. He's dejected, his face is the same as any blues fan after a defeat - your average manager simply takes it as a disappointing day.

its not cowardly at all, that is like calling a boxer who fights as a counter puncher a coward, its a very risky way to play you have to rely on your team defending well as a unit and being able to be clinical and punish every mistake, you need big characters in your team to be successful playing that way, but we unfortunately dont anymore.

the team actually set up as 442 and went at them. Not sure who made the call for them to sit back after 15 mins.......could have been JT once he realised that some of the forward and midfield were not tracking the runners. But what matters that it doesnt matter what system, what tactics, what individual responsibilities are asked of players......if anyone is just going through the motions and not giving a 100% because they dont like the tactics etc then they shouldnt be in the team/squad or worse case scenario...at this club

When you have dissident players, it is easier to fire one person than to sell and replace an entire squad. Hence why player power is so prevalent in the bigger clubs on the European circuit.

we only play like that against the top teams as those games are usually separated by small details, which is why Jose like to force a mistake and then punish his opponent! this has bought us a lot of success so its a bit ridiculous to criticize it!

I call it the 'January panic window' Once again should never ever got as bad as this, but we decided to penny pinch the fucking life out of the summer window and now look. I'm not saying it's all about us not spending but by god has it contributed massively to this mess. We have the money so fucking spend it, identify early, do deals in relevant times and do not go all auction bidding on teams. The Stones saga was a prime example of this, came in late, started at 20M or whatever it was and we looked like the dog waiting next to it's master for the last bone.

Front to back it's completely broken, not even a scatter gun January window is going to help.

but are not these players who were hand-picked by jose, who he thought were the chosen ones to fight for him.

and we have already spent a fortune on these players (cesc) or the players who were deemed good while selling others (mata, kdb for oscar).

i agree that he should get the time till the end of the season, but after that, let him go. obviously there will be a clause saying top is a must or his compensation would fall down massively. so let him do whatever he wants this season and then simply ask him to go while finding someone who can play azpi as a RB and baba as a LB instead of playing a CB as a RB and a RB as a LB.
