Took an unauthorized trip to Dubai and the club (Arsenal) are fuming. Needs to test negative before he can return back.

Gift that keeps on giving.

Tbf the whole covid thing and football has been a disaster in the UK.

From however many Aberdeen players going out and catching COVID after a game, to Bolingoli going to Spain without telling Celtic up in Scotland for 1 day, to Mount and Rice going out for a kick about at some local pitches, to Greenwood and Foden with those birds on international duty, to Abraham and Chilwell having a large gathering and plastering it on their instagram stories, to 2 Rangers players being caught at a party and now Willian going to Dubai unauthorised undoubtedly not the last footballer to do it or these guys being the only doing/done it.

Just shows how ridiculously naive footballers really are.

Gooner fans not happy at all...:P....apparently not happy at striking the first player from corners ....:D they've signed up for three years of this

Arteta must have made a very strong case to the club to get them to offer a three year deal to a 32 year old. Wonder how much good will he may already have lost in the board room as a result?

Same goes for Aubameyang really. Arteta talked about building for the future and yet, he got Arsenal to tie Aubameyang and Willian down to long term contracts, on big wages and no resale value whatsoever.

Lol very true OFAG, though it wouldn't have just been his decision ? Will he still be able to run in the 2023 24 season ? :P

nice! lol
FM has been in maintenance mode for years now... they change very little in the match engine and keep adding cosmetics to justify the almost full price DB update every year. Been several years since I bought one. Better games to play these days - unfortunately no good football manager.

After the Ozil fiasco, no wages are too high. :)

I like Arteta... he's got the right ideas IMO. Could not stand Wenger (hence my Werner->Wenger thing lol)... he was both clueless and arrogant in his last several seasons at Arsenal.

Football games tend to run with ideas of players a lot as opposed to reality.

Once a player declines it takes FIFA ages for them to acknowledge it in their stats, Torres stayed at 80+ for the duration of his time here when really he should have dropped below 70.

Funny thing is on the continent we kicked their arse even pre Roman.

Pre Roman our Euro trophy haul was higher than Arsenal has in their entire 135 year history

Banter football club at euro level
