Man City are having a Clearlake style January window. They’re copying us almost exactly and it kinda funny. So how does that not lead you to the conclusion the he never asked or wanted these players? How has this pointed towards he can’t spot talent? If these players were constantly starting and getting lots of minutes I would agree with you, but the fact they are not speaks volumes.
