So that means no europa league for Everton next year? Ok so Fellaini and Baines will both leave

Top 4 C1, Arsenal or spurs in europa league + 2 cup winners, Swansea + Wigan (may be in championship lol)

LOL. On a day Lamps gets his record, Wigan beat massive favourites Lancaster City to the FA Cup. Really happy for them, they might be relegated but they will play international football next season. This way city can not even come close to emulate our success history in the FA cup in recent years.

So happy for Wigan, it's always nice to see an underdog achieving something. Their celebrations are genuine, they don't think along the lines "oh well, it's a cute consolation to not winning the league". So yeah, suck it you City failures :lol2:

Btw, where does the word 'underdog' come from? A dog under something? :carlo:

Googled it:

"The word 'underdog' comes from the language of dogfights in the late 19th century. In those fights, two dogs attacked each other and the loser was termed the 'underdog'. The winner was termed as 'top dog'. However, though the expression is originally American, the first recorded use of underdog was seen in descriptions of people by British newspapers."
