CHOULO19 24,332
Van Persie is going to flop at utd, I'd bet anything on it.
Milan 17,959
Well, I am actually curious to see how he will fit into their team. Rooney-Van Persie on the paper looks deadly but you never know. Can't wait to hear the stadium reaction when he travels with United to play Arsenal.
Kojo 4,676
Van Persie is going to flop at utd, I'd bet anything on it.24 million on a 29 year old injury prone forward.I think he will flop too, but lets not look on that too much, he's still a world class player. And i disagree on anyone saying he just had a wonder season or just a good season. He's always shown his quality for sometime now, he's just unfortunate with injuries.Remember how good he was in 2010-2011?, he was class, he was just the same as he was in 2011-2012 season, but because he got injured in the 2010 season he was out for half of the season, and still scored 16 goals in the premier league, and not to mention his class goal in the Carling Cup Final, it was unreal that. The Rising Sun 711
Maybe we should buy Hulk or Cavani,,,,After United have bought Van persie , and now have a rooney van persie attack, City already have a plethora of big name forwards....Maybe it wont be such a bad thing for us to buy a top quality forward?I know it wont be easy to fill another World Class forward into our Line Up, but while we have strengthened in midfield, as have other teams around us, we have been left behind by ALL our rivals in terms of their striking arsenals. We shouldnt get left behind. communicate 2,703
20+ mill for 29 years old injury prone forward is a very good business by arsenal. Not sure for united though, vaan persie is a fantastic player but mu already has Rooney, welbeck, cicarito + kagawa can play as ss also. diskoviolente 425
Fabrice Muamba retires.http://www.bwfc.co.u....12-313804.aspxSo sad. Too young obviously to end the carreer. But he really is an inspiration and his story should be remembered for a long time. To get the priorities straight when football is getting to surreal again. Justin_3d 1,140
I wonder what TX has to say about RVP going to United???Is his crazy doomsday fanatic view where City dominate everyone and their mamma still hold value?
Laylabelle 9,536
Man U were always going to be a big threat this season as usual and if RVP can stay fit.Not a bad signing for them really.Pricey but may end up being worth it in the long runGives Piers Morgan someone else to moan about he must be happy! Slam Dunk 1,442
The deal seems to suit both parties (to an extent). Arsenal get maximum money for a 29 year old player and United are now resounding title favourites. Arsenal should reinvest the money and United will easily justify spending that amount if they win a trophy next season. Win-win, no?
