United are so desperate to keep him that they're catering to his every whim and giving him preferential treatment in giving him transfer information. Almost pathetic really.

5-year contract, 300k p/w wages, captain's armband and this, access to transfer plans?! They really ARE desperate to keep him and you know what, think they should just keep him. No need to pursue a player like that. Not even worth the trouble that he'll bring.

Rooney to be given access to Moyes' wife, access to United bank account, access to Moyes' car, 500k per week wages and access to United short and long term future plans in his 6 year contract. Contract negotiations have currently been put on hold because Rooney feels he needs a new challenge and a club that respects and values him more.

Just proved today why Jose desperately wanted him in the summer. While also a brilliant striker and passer of the ball, his work rate is unbelievable. Even though he is quite fat(not meant to offense) but the way he ran about the pitch is unthinkable. That clearance at the end summed him up, ran all the way from 1 end to another end of one of biggest pitch in football to clear.

Top, top class player even though is a money grabbing cunt.

And all of that while playing for Moyes. Imagine him playing for a manager that has the ability to lift his confidence, make him believe he's better and stronger than he actually is, and create an emotional bond with him. How big would his work rate be then?

Mourinho has the power to turn Rooney into a scary beast that will make international headlines.

If he ever wants to find out just how far up his potential can go, he should come knocking on Chelsea's door. If he chooses to stay at that sinking ship for the 300k a week, then well, it's his career.
