Edinson Cavani

There's no logical point of keeping Lukaku at the club if we sign Cavani. Would be a waste of another developmental year just before a WC.

He obviously has no chance of competing for a place with a £55m striker and Ba in a ONE forward system.

Swansea would be perfect IMO.

I think Lukaku could be better than Ba next year. I'd sell Torres for what we can get for him, go with Cavani and I would let Lukaku try and be the #2 man and give Ba some games here and there. You need three striker options, and you can't really keep Torres around if this happens, so I would love a Cavani/Lukaku/Ba combo.

Romelu Lukaku should hand in a transfer request. Because this is Torres all over again, sucking up all the minutes, making Lukaku an 88th minute sub. I never thought Chelsea would give into the mad man but after his "I'll bust his head in" comments it was only a matter of time. Welcome to Chelsea Cavani, I never thought Chelsea would be STUPID enough to bend over and pay that fucking ridiculous release clause but whatever. I thought Chelsea would give their young beast in Lukaku a chance to destroy EPL defenses but Roman likes to play Football Manager, I think youth WILL still be given a chance just not at striker. Hey it ain't my money I'm just along for the ride.

Chill the fuck out!

Cavani isn't bloody Andy Carroll. While I agree that the fee is entirely too high, he's still a top class player and there's a reason the top clubs in the world want him.

Though I would prefer a cheaper option, I wouldn't complain if we bring Cavani in and he works under Jose.

Still very skeptical about this story, though.

Jose, Jose, Jose!

Do you see any faith in Torres in this name? No, in my opinion Mourinho won't count on Torres.

When Drogba signed with chelsea a lot of people thought he was overpriced but Mourinho said: " Judge him when he leaves the club. " What will he say about Cavani?

Okay, seems I have to take it with a pinch of salt once again. I have had enough of salinity now.
