I am not keen on the idea of sending a legend like Cech out of the club just so we could get Cavani. Cech should be allowed to decide where he wants to play and honestly the club should be having the money to buy someone like Cavani.

If Cech wants the PSG move then your suggested deal would work otherwise it would be a massive sign of disrespect.

So with Mourinho saying yesterday that he liked the look of Torres out wide and that he may indeed use a formation with 2 strikers sometimes this season, maybe targeting Cavani makes a bit of sense. He's very versatile, works tirelessly, and scores loads.

Still not buying that we're interested yet and we don't especially need him, but I wouldn't say no.
