The Next Manager?

I think people need to chill with the Lampard talk. He took Derby from 6th to 6th. The premier league is miles ahead of the league Derby are in.

Give him a few seasons before we even consider him for manager. We sacked Di Matteo after a champions league win. If Lampard failed to get instant results he would be sacked no question.

I'd rather Jose over Rafa.

Let's be honest our choices are piss poor. If we are transfer banned I have faith Jose could keep us in the top 4 until we can buy again. It looks like a lot of the players Jose clashed with have moved on now but as we know he has a meltdown during a 3rd season.

Rather be it Lampard than another pragmatic manager that'll take us two steps backwards.

I'm concerned Lamps given i'm certain the board and the fans won't be patient with him. God forbid he starts Alonso for a consecutive amount of games.

Jose would be worst case scenario because he does not like if a team does not spend big. He immediately starts criticising the board etc.

Furthermore, he is not capable of developing Youth. He thought that RLC was a no. 6, which is ridiculous. Players like CHO,RLC, James etc. could leave Chelsea. We should go for Lamps, even though he is not ready. He at least gives Youth a fair chance and we need a coach that gives Youth a chance especially next season with the transfer ban coming. It would be nice if Lamps would have a very experienced second coach besides him.

Even spuds werent this stupid to rehire Redknapp or something. They went for Poch.

If we are losing Sarri, we better get Ten Hag or Jardim who play nice football, know how to operate with limited resources and love playing youth.

Allegri or Marco Silva as wild cards but I honestly dont want either.

Never thought i would ever say this but if Mourinho returns i won't be renewing my membership.

I fell for the whole "i'm coming back to build something" last time, won't be doing that again.

I find it baffling how anyone would want Mourinho back after everything that happened last time.

We can be forgiven some way to getting him back to build for the long term in 2013 even if it was a bit naive. Given the sentimental connection with him and the fact he hadn't as of yet tried to do the long term/sustainable build thing you can see why we gave it a roll of the dice. United were stupid for doing similar after his lack of sustainable building ability was so brutally exposed back here and got the results their stupidity deserved.

If we bring him back at a stage we have a transfer ban and are looking to integrate some talented youngsters into the team, after seeing what happened the last two jobs he took attempting to build something for the long run (one of them being here) wow, i would genuinely wonder if whoever made the choice is unwell.
