I just dont see how the Liverpool game will change anything when yesterday was our 10th loss and another game of being crap. They will see if we can make it past Real or not and assess the situation afterwards. To be fair, any serious replacement coach would want to take over the team after the season is finished anyway. Pizy 18,952
What Eddie Howe is doing at Newcastle makes what we’re doing look even more humiliating. Our squad is miles and miles more talented than theirs. We literally have a better player in every single position on the pitch and a bench any given day that’s probably better than their starting XI. And yet they’re being coached so well that they’re years ahead of schedule in their project. It’s a shambles that he’s still employed now. Are we waiting for one more humiliating result against Liverpool to act? Embarrassing ourselves on the global stage against Real Madrid? Or is there no low that’s too low and he’s 100% safe no matter what?

We won't make it past Real..to get past them you need to score. We can't score! Sooooooo. I did think we were playing for Euorpa or had a chance but think that ship has sailed. Now playing for 10th! Vegetable 830
I'd say it's becoming laughable, but it laughable since at least 2 months. Soon the board will consider grass being too green an obstacle for Potter to perform and decide to focus on "bigger picture", that is, I guess, our chances to reach the upper part of Championship's table. Just watched them beat Man U - but what all their players have more than ours is aggression, which, comes down to coaching

The rewritting of the early part of his tenure is driving me nuts. Yes the cup win was nice for them in isolation, but would you want to see us employing Harry Redknapp, Alex McLeish, Grame Souness or Roberto Martinez? As they all won a domestic cup with much weaker teams. Exactly what annoys me when people use Arteta to defend Potter. Based on Potters comments in the press, it's very likely that they are using Arteta as a model. Arsenal finishing in top 4 is itself something, but them winning the league would wrongly convince some people that Potter is also worth the risk. calculatingInfinity 1,472
Sad to hear this, although I guess I have to admit the mess was getting to big. Good luck with whatever you do next. Norfolkblue1961
