I think we’ll go all out for Lukaku. It seems to be the common assumption everywhere that Inter must sell someone this summer and it’s obvious that that was the reason Conte quit. So they’ll surely be much easier to negotiate with than Dortmund. Kane was always a fantasy and if they bring back Poch I doubt he’ll want out anyways.

We should certainly try to tempt Haaland and negotiate with BVB, though. It would be gutting to see him scoring for fun for City/United/Liverpool.

Will be more gutting when the minority who want Lukaku realize how shit and frustrating he will be next season.

Lukacow easiest striker to get out of Kane, Haaland, if we fail to get a striker we might decide to wait another year for Haaland.

Rice favorite over the other 2 but isn't an absolute must like it was with Lampard.

Right back a possibility to strenghten but not priority, Law thinks Hakimi would fit.

Nothing will be done before Euros.

Unless we're using the back three, Hakimi would be a disaster.

We need a striker who can reliably bully and score goals against the fodder of the PL. To put away the seemingly countless chances we create that go wasted. Lukaku can 100% do that and he did even when he was at United. He has improved quite a bit from that time.

If Rom is our “fallback” option in case Haaland is impossible I’d be fine with it. Is he a “sexy” footballer who will wow us with skill? No. But is he a mammoth upgrade on what we’ve had since Diego left? Absolutely.

No PL or CL defense is going to want to see the pace of Werner and the freight train that is Lukaku running at them in full flow.

Waiting for Haaland would be the better outcome given what he can give in the long term compared to someone like Lukaku.

The competition would be very hard though. We will compete against the likes of Bayern, Madrid, Barca, City, United, and maybe Juve.

Doesn't matter. Will take our chances. Even if we can't get Haaland, it would give us time (between this summer and next summer) to see if there's any other striker that pops up.

Or if Werner and Havertz improve during the next season, the idea of buying Lukaku who is average, 28 years old, overpriced and with a 300k monthly salary just so we can bang a few more goals which will at most make us get Top 4 seemingly without struggling but will never make us title challengers.

Real can still get their young star back. According to a report from Edu Aguirre, via @Ultra_Suristic, Los Blancos have the right of first refusal for Hakimi over the next three years. Meaning Real will have a chance to match the highest transfer offer Inter receive for Hakimi and buy him back, which may be even better than a straight-up buy-back clause.

Inter, agreement for the arrival of Hakimi. Real will have first refusal on future resale

Real Madrid will have first refusal on any future resale – Already in the day today, says the Corriere dello Sport, the exterior Achraf Hakimi should arrive in Milan for medical visits and signing with Inter. The former Borussia Dortmund will sign a five-year deal with the nerazzurri from nearly 6 million a season including bonuses. Real Madrid, instead, will be 40 million more bonus (you will be able to tap the 50 plus the opportunity to “put hands” on him in the future: the Blancos, in fact, have obtained a future right of pre-emption in the case in which the Inter decide to sell it. Real Madrid, thanks to this option, you may match any bid accepted by Inter and return to valdebebas aimed the management of the external.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has no plans of leaving Chelsea this summer

https://sportslens.com/callum-hudson-odoi-has-no-plans-of-leaving-Chelsea-this-summer/359404/

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is prepared to fight for his future and has no plans of leaving the Blues this summer, Goal.com reports.

The 21-year-old has had another tough season with the west London club, where he has struggled to secure regular playing time.

It was recently reported that the Blues were open to parting ways with Hudson-Odoi, with interest from German giants Borussia Dortmund.

However, it appears that the England international has no desire to leave and won’t accept being a makeweight for either Harry Kane or Jadon Sancho.

The Blues have not seen the best of Hudson-Odoi in recent years, but it is claimed that the club still have confidence in the player’s ability.

Sportslens view:

Hudson-Odoi has registered five goals and five assists from 37 games this term, but he has averaged just 50 minutes per appearance.

The youngster has the potential to become a top-class player, but he has struggled to find consistency to stake a claim for a regular role.

When Thomas Tuchel arrived as the manager in January, he played him regularly in the right wing-back position ahead of Reece James.

However, within a few weeks, Hudson-Odoi dropped down the pecking order, with James and Cesar Azpilicueta getting the nod.

Tuchel recently urged Hudson-Odoi to work harder to live up to his potential, and the forward seems prepared to stay patient.

He has three years remaining on his £120,000-a-week contract, and next season could be make-or-break for him with the Blues.

‘OUTSTANDING’: TUCHEL SAYS LIVERPOOL LINKED ACE IS ‘ONE OF THE CRAZIEST NATURAL TALENTS’

https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/05/28/outstanding-tuchel-says-liverpool-linked-ace-is-one-of-the-craziest-natural-talents/

Speaking to Soccer Am’s YouTube channel, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been waxing-lyrical about reported Liverpool target Ousmane Dembele.

Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for Dembele for quite some time now, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that the Reds have always had an eye on the Frenchman.

Tuchel clearly believes that he’s a quality player.

WHAT’S BEEN SAID?

Tuchel was asked who is the best player he’s ever managed, and he believes that Dembele is amongst the greatest he’s ever coached.

“One of the first names that comes to mind is Ousmane Dembele when he came to Dortmund. He had a natural talent and he was very outstanding,” Tuchel said.

“We had Mats Hummels, we had Gundogan, Mhitaryan, Aubameyang. I’m forgetting top players,

“But Ousmane Dembele was one of the craziest natural talents because he could shoot free kicks with his left and with his right, take corners from the left and then going to another corner and doing an inswinger with the right. Dribbling, running, passing. He was on the highest level at just 18 years old when his development wasn’t finished,” Tuchel said.

WHAT A TALENT

Tuchel only coached Dembele for one season when he was a teenager, but he believes he’s amongst the best players he’s ever coached.

Bear in mind the fact that Tuchel has managed the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and N’Golo Kante and it’s easy to see just how big this praise is.

Dembele is undoubtedly a fantastic talent, and with Liverpool reportedly eyeing him up, we can only hope we get the chance to see him play in the Premier League sooner rather than later.

You can have all the talent in the world but if you do not have the application you will not realise it.

Doubt they'd sell, but I'd like us to put an offer in  for 18 year old Utd player Hannibal Mejbri. Really talented lad and exactly the type of player we are desperately short of. Maybe not ready for the first team just yet, but he could be in a year so.
