Would be a big u turn for the clubs current model

They did offer 2 years to Luiz and Willian but at least they are in their early 30s. The club might view it differently for someone in their late 30s.

Given its not a position whereby you should drop of a cliff in terms of performances as extremely as positions reliant on pace etc I'd like to think they'd offer a 2 year for the right wage. But who knows. JT and Frank didn't get that offer in their mid 30s

Ok, no thanks. They would probably give him for less than 120, but that's not even close to 65 let's say. And his injury record is awful, he misses 10-15 games every season.

Atletico never sell their star players below their release clause, so basically 120m or feck off.

Wonder who Frank would use as Silva's main partner if he is to sign. It'll hopefully be a partnership that is consistent unlike last season.

I do not think that those guys are available.
If he is a decent defense coach, why not.

Ok, this may sound stupid, but I did small research on Silva with the help of Fifa and PES ratings from history. He was fast, and I mean FAST defender. I get that he is 35 now, but he probably kept some of that pace even now and is faster or fast the same as an average 26-yo central defenders (faster than Dunk for sure).
