All the comments from City that wants to keep him are from the perspective of being 4th choice CB and backup LB. If we are signing him as a sub, okay whatever I am on board even though the money is a lot.

People want us to integrate Colwill and have him develop, yet at the same time want a players like Kimpembe or Gvardiol who would both start the majority of the matches. Ake is a good squad player to have and it will allow Colwill to easily displace him should Colwill fulfill his potential.

You haven’t missed anything. He is still exactly that same, extremely unremarkable player who left us. That’s the problem. 0 development in his entire senior career. If he was still 21 he would be a promising player but he is fkin 27 …

still the same inconsistent touch

still exactly as tiny

still almost never makes a successful tackle or interception

still decent but not special passing

still average in the air

scores the occasional tap in from a corner every 50 games 

probably the most boring  pl cb there is
