Vesper 30,238
Until he scored in the 2nd to last game Jonathan David had ONE goal (against Clermont Foot) all comps from the 3rd week of December 2021 onward (and no, not injured) let that sink in one goal, all comps, in 5 months

Plus he is young and can get a resale value as well. he absolutely needs to rebound first, no way should we dump out £50m on a dice roll like he would be Fernando

Magic Lamps 11,692
Kicking the can down the road we give him away for peanuts and he returns with his market value slashed in half We should not be looking at saving a few quid on this massive failure. We should wreck his career and have him sit with the reserves for 4 years to make an example of what happens when you talk shit in public Nero and laura90

If we are to compete to win titles, there is no time for evening a score with a player that our people fucked up buying.

chelsea_4_eva 1,182
Thank fuck. Priority number one was always going to be shipping Lukaku off, because the longer he stays, the more toxic the environment will become. Now we can focus on rebuilding the squad, also while dealing with the Alonso / Azpi situation along the way. guddy69
Fernando 6,586
But I see this playing out like Bakayoko. Endless deal of loan where no one will buy him. 100 million down the drain. laura90

Pizy 18,966
Only way back here for Lukaku is if we have a catastrophic season that results in Tuchel getting sacked and some new manager fancies him next season. Otherwise we’ll probably just end up cutting our losses next summer and selling him back to Inter for cheap. Like €35m or something.

Lukaku is a proven commodity and at his best is much more valuable than Baka, and the demand for proven strikers is much higher. I do t see any reason why Lukaku couldn’t get back to his best at Inter. He will be much more demanded next summer. a two year loan wouldn’t have made much sense, that would have been ideal for Inter.

No point in being bitter as a club. Take another loss on a striker and keep clear of Belgians on the whole.
