Anyone with an information on our homegrown players situation at the moment? I may be wrong, but seeing the outgoings + academy outgoings and potential incomings + previous transfers I have a feeling we are heading towards the thin ice with this.

Not an issue at all. So far our squad is made by just 22 players:

GK: Mendy, Kepa, Bettinelli (HG)
LWB: Chilwell (HG) , Alonso 
RWB: James (HG) , CHO (U21)
CB: Rudiger, Zouma(Kounde), Christensen (HG), Silva, Azpilicueta, Chalobah (HG)
CM: Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic
AM/CF: Mount (HG), Lukaku (HG), Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech, Werner

NonHG - 14

HG - 7

U21 - 1

So we have 21 players who are not U21, we can still add 3 nonHG and one HG to the squad (of course we can also add 4 HG players and 0 nonHG). Saul is obviously nonHG, RLC is HG. Ampadu and Anjorin are still U21.

 

For CL is very similar, because out of these 7 HG, only 3 are FA trained (and 4 are club trained).

Saul and Kounde will be a fucking incredible window for us to end things. 

Saul offers something we haven't got now that is a danger from long range shots and the money we have pushed out in wages covers this move very easily.

I love Chelsea n always have done, but this team and manager atm are doing things to me again. Every week day I cant wait for match day, feels like the club is back to its best. Roll on Liverpool!!!!!

Casemiro, Kroos and Modric were ahead. They introduced Valverde when Kova left for us.

Now Atletico plays Koke, Kondogbia, De Paul ahead. Plus they have Herrera and Llorente...

Would love Kounde and Saul.epic squad with those 2 additions. 

Have  been hoping for Moriba for the 4th CM spot as thought we could get a young bargain,even though is always the risk they want to return there in the future.would have been content with the 4th CM being a shared spot between a few already on our books including Mount against certain teams.but at least for this season with those two we would be serious contenders in every competition.
