As amazing as Hakimi is, talk of €80m is insane. But at the same time we did spunk that much in fucking Kepa so I suppose it’s not totally unfathomable that we’d go there for Hakimi.

But PSG seem much more serious and keen to do the deal than we do.

PSG are trying to spend big to convince Mbappe to stay

It's £68m. We offered Juve £70m (close to £72m, £73m now with inflation) for Alex Sandro years ago, and finally gave up after they raised the price (for the 4th time) to £75m.

If you think a best on planet position (game changing position, look at how Davies transformed Bayern as a WC LWB) player is not worth £68m, (especially to the point you are calling it insane) then perhaps you are simply refusing to admit that this is the way things go in the rarefied air we (as a top 8 most important team in planet, ie. us, PSG, RM, Barca, Juve, Bayern, Manure, and Pool) and 'top on planet' players operate in now, COVID or no COVID.

He is off to PSG only because he wants to go there to begin with, we can thank Sponge Bob for this, there were rumours a few days ago that filthy Ziyech told him to stay away from us because he doesn't like it here, fucking useless fraud.

You and Vesper are absolute morons, making shit up about Ziyech without any proof. complete meltdowns over a signing that was never going to happen. Ultimately Chelsea never made a bid.

Thanks @Clockwork i was about to say something. Can people stop to just go crazy over thin air?

IF this Hakimi deal falls through, it is yet MORE evidence that Northern Italians have Marina on a leash

she gets lead around like a shih-poo every single time we go and deal with Juve (the worst!) Inter, or AC Milan

Shih poo

What is this, seriously? Deals go or fall through for hundreds of different reasons. There is just nothing to base this on.

And @R2D2 why are you ALWAYS so angry, all the time? What's the matter with you haha.

But you don't know that Marina fucked it up on the previous italian travails as you call them. That is completely speculative and that is what i am pointing out.

I would recommend you go back to what you posted. To say that italian clubs have Marina on a leash is just... i'll let you decide what word you want to put there.

Spend no more than a couple of hours off the forum to see two new pages of comments in here, expecting something interesting only to see some baseless conspiracy theories about Ziyech and Hakimi being talked about as if they're true, and the window being written off already with the usual witch-hunt of Marina because we haven't brought anyone yet.

I enjoy this forum but it is bloody hard work at times.

Sounds like you and a few others are in complete denial over Chelsea being seriously interested in Hakimi by pretending there was no bid, there is enough proof to show our interest is very serious, the reason you never saw us officially make a bid is because Marina knows Hakimi doesn't want to come here, it's called saving face by pretending we weren't that interested, it's a strategy that every club is doing.

It's fairly obvious no player can decide so fast between 2 top clubs with the media being overly confident Hakimi prefers PSG over us in such a short period of time unless Ziyech told him bad stuff about us and he made up his mind, people can believe what they want but it doesn't take a genius to connect 1+1 rumours about Ziyech wanting to leave and Hakimi not wanting to come here.

First thing you do when a top club is interested is talk to someone close you know, there is no better person to ask than your countryman. I saw an example above about Luiz and Thiago but I highly doubt Luiz disliked the club, he just had a beef with Frank and left, if Thiago asked him about us, Luiz probably only had good things to say about Chelsea football club, this is a player that came, left and after came back.

Yet on last page you blamed Marina for Hakimi wanting PSG? And here we go again... She is just a negotiator... What in your opinion is she suppose to do? Even if he wants to come here, should we really spend 85m on wing back?

Trying to involve Alonso is perfectly logical thing to do. But it is not like she decides how much are we going to spend anyway...

Usually I like transfer windows and I am really involved in that during summer but this time for the first time I am totally relaxed. We are European Champions, we have amazing squad... But we will get a couple of new players... No doubt...

I blame her for not being able to convince him to come by offering him a favorable wage like apparently Chilwell got.

I don't mind if we back off considering the money involved for a wing back, I'm completely fine with that but you can almost bet your house we will try to get another RWB which won't be anywhere near close to Hakimi's quality. Our record in the transfer market after winning a big title isn't exactly good to say at least.

In the US teams are replacing 90K seat stadiums with 50 to 60k stadiums. The upkeep and amount of people needed for massive stadiums is not profitable and the parking and traffic after a game is paralyzing. The profits today are TV revenue. Also the local blackout of the game if the stadium does not fill angers local fans.

Keep it small/medium

I do believe you're overreacting a little bit here. 😄

That is 68 million pounds - Kai Havertz transfer fee territory. Offering players in exchange is the only way to do a deal. If Inter prefer the straight cash from PSG (looks like this is the case), we move to other targets.
