Yup Barca failed to sell any of players with those ridiculous high wages that they chose to give them and now acting as its La Liga's fault with their rules.

We also need to keep this is mind as we also have done the same, thankfully no rules regarding wages here... yet

our wage bill is overall reasonable, with some exceptions for some the shit buys, but unlike Barca, our mistakes are on £100-120K per week, not £300K, £400K PW

Barca have gone from having 'charity' sponsers to becoming an actual charity case!

The news about them not even able to sign the new incomings is huge and we should be all over this.

We should of gone for the kun over torres in the first place!

Yep. Chelsea's wages to turnover ratio is somewhere around 65-70% in the last few years despite having some deadwood who get paid to do nothing (the likes of Drinkwater). Without the deadwood it would obviously be much better, but even the 70% is quite healthy.

Barcelona president today said their wage to turnover  is 110% so for every euro they make they spend 1,10€ on wages and that's not even counting other expenses the club have. Without Messi's absurd salary that percentage supposedly goes down to 95% but even so their situation is very, very serious and that's why they're so desperate for the Super League.

Saw someone on another forum suggest this is a planned power play from Barca to get La Liga to change the salary cap situation. They scare the league into thinking their biggest draw is leaving, they relax the salary cap rules, and then suddenly Messi decides to come back to Barca after all.

IF La Liga caves in, they are done.

One club can NEVER become bigger than a league, or that league will soon collapse.

Doubt it, More likely they will just adjust the scam that is FFP to suit this kind of stuff in fear of whats on the horizon!

Super league howling in the wind!

There was an investigation once bc PSG kept offsetting their losses with Qatar money that was declared as sponsorship money. But they then bribed the UEFA duds so they declared "all is fine". Now they have a free pass.

And even have that cunt Khalif or whatever his name is in the uefa board.....its fucking retarded

it is clear where he is going 😉

Talks between Lionel Messi and PSG are progressing well. PSG believe they have a good chance of closing the deal and can afford to sign him without breaking FFP rules. (Source:

Lmao, yeah sure they will be within FFP limits......

Is this based on the current situation with much lower turnover due to Covid?

If this was their standard position in a non Covid time, how is it possible to comply with FFP?

Laporta: "Without Messi, the wage bill is 95% compared to the club's income." Thats ridiculous but it is what happens when you pay Umtiti and Roberto 24m per year each before tax.

Not so much mercenary Messi as inept, greedy board ...same as Inter...same as most top clubs. Just appointees on 'who they know' greedy multimillionaires, who as we saw with the Super Shit League dont give a flying monkeyspunk fuck about fans.

Re Lukaku -

China bank Corp. just sued Inter and owner, Steven Zhang  for 255 million dollars on unpaid bank dues. I feel bad for Inter's fans though, for the mismanagement by Suning but it was coming.

Conspiracy theorists might say China having moved into football in a big way is undermining its rivals -European football.

After all its all about the money - how much a few can get out of it, and you realise Continents are squabbling over it as well

They really do need to sell. Fan protests do not mean as much when you are about to lose everything.

Can PSG legally even pass FFP if they get Messi? Isnt he on like 1 million a week or something? Add that to their other wages Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos, Donnarumma to name a few..

The look on Neymar face when he escaped Barca only to have PSG sign Messi on higher wages. Wherever he goes, he can't escape this guys shadow.

I have read several times that because they are writing a new FFP plan and cannot give teams a definitive guideline, this year will be forgiven. If you are going to blow up your budget, this is the year to do so. Next season is supposed to be well defined.

Either PSG sell Mbappe now or let him walk for free next summer. PSG don't have strong leverage, Mbappe hold all the card.

This is 100 percent happening, confirmed by Matt Law on the podcast. His girlfriend is in London and up until two weeks ago he was content at Milan but the force of Chelsea and Tuchel speaking to him has sold it to him. He has asked Inter to let him leave and they won't stand in his way. The deal is on the verge of being announced and Lukaku could fly to London this weekend.

This isn't just the club wanting him but the coach too.
