Poor game but expected loss.

The quick goals after promising first few minutes broke us. Then with our low confidene completely collapsed. Fail to get full points from the next 4 league games and top4 is gone. Already looking forward to Guus Hiddink as caretaker lol

Arsenal could be level on points with us by the time we kick off at Fulham on January 15.

That's shite...they crept up quick! Theyve only played 2 games since they beat us..

..we can also find ourselves 10 behind Man U if they win their game in hand. Not that they were miles behind but even so. How its turned

Rewatched the penalty incident and it definitely was a penalty. A clear foul and clearly right on the line of the box. might well have changed the game completely. Another corruped ref classic. Not an excuse for the performance tho

Ask yourself this. If Sarri was still our coach, would we still have gotten top 4?

Lampard hasn’t done anything extraordinary. The reason why it looked extraordinary because he was a rookie coach with no experience. That’s why most people didn’t give us a prayer.

But he only managed to get us over the line on the final day of the season. That’s really nothing special on a grand scheme of things. It’s not like Chelsea is West Ham or Palace in a different name.

If Sarri was still in charge, we would have expected Sarri to get top 4 - even with the ban.

Well Sarri didn't stay. That's why we were left with a problem.

Sarri staying would have been a far safer bet than anyone else coming in at that point. At least he would know where to pick up, and possibly even got us closer to playing the kind of football he envisioned.

If Sarri had stayed, then the club wouldn't have approached Lampard. Lampard instead would have been coaching Derby for another year in the championship., with Tomori and possibly Mount.

What I'm saying is Lampard didn't push for the job. He was given a high risk, high reward offer from the club, and he made the most of what he could. He should take credit for whatever he achieved last season.

Anyway, all that is irrelevant now. Just like that quote from the blade runner movie, 'tears in the rain' at this point. He's in a position that even experienced managers would struggle to worm their way out of. A slump. The end is almost here

Yes, but sadly we do not get even 100% penalties, while Man United receive penalties for just diving.

Yeah. this is really why i am considering to quit football altogether. i can not stand this injustice any longer really.... esp given how i hate ManUre. I can deal with other teams winning if they win fair and square, even ManUre but this is just oo much. 11 fkin pens gifted.... add to that all the other pens that have been recalled by VAR despite obvious fouls. At the sametime we have been denied 5 stonewall pens this season and had multiple other bad var decisions that cost us goals. this has just made it all worse

Foden is great final 3rd midfielder.

Already 6 goals and 5 assists this season. Compere that to our midfielders.

Foden doesn't play midfield.

It is absolutely bizzare how people compare player, you want to compare number compare our midfield to gundogan.

Yes he does, very often. Sometimes winger but Mount also played many games as winger. What about Maddison, is he not a midfielder as well?

And btw Gundogan 5 goals this season, Mount and Kovacic our starting number 8s have 1 together.

Truth being told, our midfield is not in top10 in the league and offers zero attacking threat. And is our biggest problem in terms of squad imo.

Agree 100%. We could lose to anyone in the table ATM because teams know how to play us and expose our midfield. Frank needs to adjust the formation because expecting three midfielders on our team to offer anything going forward is not going to happen. We always wanted the 4231 and I think it's a good time to try it with Kai as the CAM.

that cross from Zinchenko before the Gundogan goal and the ball from KdB to Foden.

I feel Liverpool/City have a variety and zip in their crosses. Chelsea is just spamming them into the box expecting Pulisic to score headers against Dias, Stones. Happens every fucking game

Gundogan has scored more this season, but he usually only score 1 goal per season because he played behind sterling. It looks like pep change his setup for this season.

If you want to compare stat it got to be player who play similar role otherwise they are bs comparison.
