Would Zola really want to be an assistant for Chelsea? He was so close to getting Watford promoted and surely there must be some other premier league clubs calling for him as a manager.

It's all simply speculation, although I see no reason why Zola couldn't be our assistant coach. He fulfills the needed credentials, the main being involved within the club and loved by the fans (who'd certainly approve of the appointment if made) and as stated RDM followed a similar route with West Brom.

Well..RDM was sacked by West Brom...thus had the opportunity to become assistant manager under AvB.....as for Zola, he's not really in danger of being sacked..and I don't see why he would leave Watford to become Jose's assistant...that would just show a lack of ambition.

Why does everyone think that Mourinho was at the match to watch chalobah? fucken lols

Maybe he turned up thinking it was the Champions League final and was wondering where the fuck Dortmund and Bayern were, who know's! :shifty:

but I can assure you that he didn't close his eyes every time Chalobah got the ball seeing that he is a Chelsea player who had a very good season at Watford and is tipped for a big future. Then again he might have closed his eyes because he was unable to bare witness to the horror show Nathaniel was having...

Because of dailymail?? they wrote this sentence :

"The manager went to Wembley to watch the Championship play-off final between Crystal Palace and Watford, presumably to watch Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah, who plays for the Hornets on loan."

Why not? he knows we need to strengthen big time in Midfield so Mourinho could have gone there to see if Chalobah is ready to become a first team player rather then spending big on a DM, it makes sense to me.

tumblr_lt63ogaYB71qa3jw0o1_500.jpg JOSE MOURINHO is bringing his trusted right-hand man Rui Faria with him to Chelsea.

The pair were spotted at Wembley yesterday watching Crystal Palace’s play-off final victory.

Coach Faria, 37, will also quit Real Madrid next week to follow the Special One back to Stamford Bridge.

They have been inseparable since teaming up at Portuguese minnows Leiria back in 2001 where Faria became fitness coach.

And since then the fiery Faria has grown into Mourinho’s trusted lieutenant.

They guided Chelsea to back-to-back Premier League crowns in their first spell on the King’s Road in 2005 and 2006, and also lifted two Carling Cups and the FA Cup.

The duo won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan and league titles in Spain, Italy and Portugal. In 2010 Inter did the Treble of the Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Champions League.

Faria will effectively be Chelsea’s No 2 when Mourinho makes his emotional return to the Bridge after six years away.

Lmfao, he won't be ready for a couple of years, that is of course he doesn't stagnate.

ok thats your opinion! nothing funny about Jose going to see how far or how close he is from becoming a first team player! he is certainly good enough to play for a PL team and could be a useful squad player for us next season! so i dont really see what you find so funny about the situation.
