Jase 43,479
He was number ten in second half of 12/13 when he started to go off the boil. Yes but you're talking as if players don't lose their form. Also, out of position is an excuse to a point, but not for how much he's gone off the boil. Anelka, Modric, Azpilicueta, David Silva, Bale, prime Ivanovic, were played out of their best positions and did well. I take your point but different players have different adaptability. Not everyone can excel in different positions (don't think I would use Modric, Silva, Bale as examples) and for every player you mentioned above, you could probably name a few who works better in a certain position than others. Not everyone can excel in different positions (don't think I would use Modric, Silva, Bale as examples) and for every player you mentioned above, you could probably name a few who works better in a certain position than others.I noticed it especially because I went away for 2 months between the Reading game and Saints game and watched all games inbetween in one go pretty much (full games) and one of the things I noticed was how much he dropped off, it probably had a fair bit to do with burnout in his defense but he was every bit as poor in that period as Cesc has been this season. An on the second point fair enough, however his flaws were still obvious even in his prime for us, but one thing that was widely known as Matas strongest point was his final ball and assists, even out of position under AVB he was still assisting, and with 4 last season, Oscar and Willian get slated for having similar low numbers in a seasonThe main point of what I responded to Parky tho was the fact he criticised Jose for letting Mata go, it might have been painful on a personal level letting him go especially there, but on a footballing level for me it defiantly wasn't a mistake and £37m was a steal for us.On a side not it wouldhave been intersting if Mata went before KDB, Salah came in and played a lot of games as the 5th attacking midfielder, so De Bruyne might have got a fair bit of game time too, so maybe he would have stayed if Mata went first. Popular Post! stroey 2,525 Posted December 27, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 27, 2015 "Today we had a lot of bad luck. First, [Nemanja] Matic's penalty was a result of bad luck, with the ball hitting his hand; Watford's second goal took a deflection and got in and I missed the penalty by the end of game. I think we didn't deserve to draw, we deserved to win but that's how football is."Regarding José Mourinho's sacking, Oscar revealed a few interesting things, including hints at what may have been actual discord inside the dressing room between "some" players and the manager. But for him, it's time for the players to move on."When the results don't come it's quite difficult. A lot of players start to get changed in the line-ups and some of them don't like this situation, but now the moment is gone. We have to keep our heads up, move on and get the results that we need."-Oscar; source: ESPN BrasilWillian also offered his thoughts on José Mourinho's dismissal, saying that the players should only focus on playing football and adapt to Hiddink's way of work after Mou's departure."These decisions are made by the board; we as players must only think about playing football and adapt to the oncoming manager. So we are adapting to Guus Hiddink's work [at the moment]." "[Mourinho] never looked to bring in any issues from the outside to the dressing room. He never was that kind of manager. Unfortunately things weren't happening the way we were looking to." -Willian; source: ESPN Brasilhttp://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/12/27/10669128/oscar-willian-reaction-chelsea-watford-mourinho Ossie the King, LDN Blue, Fernando and 3 others

Popular Post! Iggy Doonican 4,186 Posted December 29, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 29, 2015 José Mourinho to replace GodEx-Chelsea manager José Mourinho has revealed that he has been offered the position of God and intends to start in the New Year.“It is big honour for me,” said the prickly Portuguese.“But is bigger honour for whole of mankind to have Special One in charge. I hope to return human race to former glories.”Mourinho had been linked with the position of God ever since God resigned following a disappointing 4.5 billion years in charge that saw countless wars, devastating famines, natural disasters, itchy jumpers, and the Transformers film franchise – particularly the second one.Whilst he won’t be in charge for what is traditionally a tricky Christmas period, Mr Mourinho is expected to be watching closely how the human race performs with a view to making any changes in the New Year. The news has largely been greeted warmly by fans of the human race.“Well, it’s a new boss for me, which will be a challenge,” said Pope Francis in response to the appointment.“But I’m excited to see what a younger man can do, and he’ll certainly have my full support with whatever ideas he tries to introduce.”Mr Mourinho is expected to do pretty well for a few years and then fall out with the whole of humanity and be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti. bababoom, CurlyHairLikeLuiz, Sideshow Luiz and 5 others

Iggy Doonican 4,186
What a complete and utter twat. Is he a disgruntled Man United fan definitely not or just someone who's trying to make a few quid by selling cheap shit to people who don't know any better. And before anyone says it's only Man United who cares if a fuckwitt like that turned up on the Fulham Road he wouldn't last five minutes. After Madrid Mourinho could have gone everywhere but he chose to come back to us. But when things got tough, we showed no loyalty whatsoever and kicked him out, even a dog deserves better, imo. Mourinho comitted himself to us, he wanted to stay here long-term, yes he made mistakes too but after the dismissal i can't blame the man for going to another English Club. It's not like he was managing us pro bono. His sallary was huge. Loyalty doesn't exist anymore. Not in football. Yes, the money was the good, the atmosphere great, sure. But other clubs could have payed him more, the french league is a lot easier, but in end he came back to us, i honour it because one can't buy such a thing.
