DYC. 7,542
Watch this weekend as our players form returns to them as if by magic despite being deployed with the exact same tactics they've been given all season.Doubt it. Team is a shambles. Winning is possible but 3 points against Sunderland is anything but a great achievement.
OhForAGreavsie 6,078
They gave him plenty of time and chance. So no one can say that our board are ruthless. They gave him too much time and freedom to do whatever he wanted. The board did give Jose more time than it would have given to anyone else in these circumstances, that is true. We do not know however that the boss was allowed to do whatever he wanted. That is just speculation. Fernando

SinineUltra 1,170
He's never coming back here. Perhaps rigtly so. He will be sacked sooner or later. Fans are fickle, memories are short and players are untouchable. nullabletype, iseah100, TheIceMan and 1 other

Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted December 17, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 17, 2015 Wow. So he's actually gone. Such a shame things didn't work out. Let me say one thing though - the people that are playing the player power narrative couldn't be more wrong in my opinion. This isn't the same. The players are not revolting against Mourinho - they've come out at numerous times supporting the manager. They care. They are trying out there. It just wasn't working anymore. The player power narrative is a very poor one I think. It was far bigger than that. Players aren't underperforming because they wanted Mourinho out. Whatever was working for our players and Mourinho just isn't anymore. Which brings me onto my next point. Having a manager for a long time does not guarantee long term stability at the top level. As I said before, it's about the ethos and philosophy that the club defines. We need that defined now more than ever. This is when we bring in players AND managers that fit our defined philosophy and ethos. Jose is an absolute legend for what he's done for us and for world football in general but it just wasn't meant to be. Our results this season just were not acceptable and he including the players and the board are responsible for that. He didn't have it in him to turn it around however. How we progress from here and the moves we make from now on will be very important for the club's long term future. hjperdeath 2,226
Come back? The man deserves more than coming back to a club that sacked him twice. Thank you for the memories Jose, you'll forever be loved. Can't wait for the atmosphere next game , the players and the board will get their answer. Viper22 2,418
Jason could you stick a new thread up (or in this thread) with a poll asking who Chelsea fans want to be the next manager (temporarily and/or permenently). Now this is done i'm curious to know the general feeling even though I have a horrible feeling it will Pep the bellend.

Watch the circus now, theyll probably apoint Stamford the Lion.Nah mate, we've already done wrong by one club heroine this season, Eva Carneiro. It's Bridget's job for the taking. Just brace yourself for the claims of sexism when we bin her in 6 months because the players have taken the hump. Fulham Broadway

kevvyhaz 9
well done Roman! when you are investing so much money into football you should at least get a manager that thinks offensive to entertain the world. Mourinho has always played anti football
