The Mourinho Thread

It is still a betrayal of sorts if he manages Utd IMO. I could only justify him going there if we had loads of "Jose out" banners and an obvious majority against him. But it's only a minority and a few people on the board who truly called for his head. If he manages United, he's using this sacking as an excuse, not justification.

Better sign that contract soon, want him on the bench for when we visit Old Trafford next week. These Chelsea players that have "betrayed" him and are "mentally weak" now after he allegedly "brought them to a level that it is not level" will be fucking pumped up and hopefully will rip him a new hole.

Not even a week has gone by and he's already jumping the ship to our rivals. "One of us" :wank2::wank2::wank2: . All those claiming Mourinho was craving for the United job all the time, they were fucking right. Now he's yours United, get him to sign a lifetime contract and then watch your golden boy Martial figthing for survival at Aston Villa in three years time.

Only deluded fools would believe that Mourinho is one of us. He was itching for the Man Utd manager job 3 years ago and only came to the Bridge after he was turned down by Alex Ferguson and Bobby Charlton.

This is a money business for them. There are no bloody loyalties in Football or in any profession for that matter.

It is funny how supporters lap it up when Jose says 'he's one of us', he said the same at Porto, Inter and if he has a few good years at United will say the same. When he left Inter he said that was the club most close to his heart, not Chelsea. I am a massive Jose fan but he talks a lot of BS.

I just want Chelsea to go back to basics, good football, clean cut manager who is sensible that'll give youth a chance. We dont even have to win the league for the next few years, i just want to see us progressing. Look at what Pochettino is doing at Spurs, he's the real manager with balls. He doesnt care if a player is young and has no experience, he trust them and lets them play their natural game. Jose would rather take the easy option, spend 30-40 million on a player rather than developing one. Alex Ferguson said one of the main reason for his success at United was the fact that he trusts youngsters and is willing to give them a try, Jose is the pure opposite.

Ferguson also spent a fuckload of money spent on his team by a brilliant chief exec. You may well get what you wish for but its not just a case of changing the manager and setting our targets low, but creating a brand new philosophy.

Spurs is a completely different world though. The level of expectation is a world away from our club so of course there's more freedom in that job. He's done a fine job no doubt but there's not a manager who could come in and expect similar here.

It'll hurt seeing Mourinho as United manager but what can you do. As Terry said: It's easier to let go of the manager then sack multiple players

Not that im saying he was never tempted by United, but he was always coming back to us back then, Fergie himself has confirmed that.

Who knows if it is the truth.

Fergy in the book is justifying one of his biggest blunders, his appointment of Moyes. His defense is quite pitiful by saying no one else was available, red nose horribly defends his choice. He is not going to say Mourinho was available and i picked Moyes.

He is attempting to escape criticism over Moyes hiring.

I don't remember that, but if you say so.

Edit: Not sure what that adds to the discussion, how does that prove that Mourinho had no interest in the United job?

well from the moment an interim manager was placed in October 2013...some itk reckoned Mourinho was contacted then.

Mourinho then reckons that he told Ferguson he was only coming back to England for 1 job....... a point backed up by Ferguson in his book.

Mourinho was never asked, had applied or was rejected from that job.

As far as interest goes.....just about every top manager in world football today would have an interest if there was a chance
