well, 3 of our worst performers this season, started the game. shocking? NO. it was "expected" of jose. any other manager would have told them to not even bother coming to the match.

I'm putting all my faith that he should be the man to take-over at Chelsea in the summer of 2016.

Sevilla play real football, and he knows how to win in European competitions (obviously this season hasn't been the case, but still).

The fact that he knows how to approach European matches should not go unnoticed, just look at Mr. Pelligrino.

If you gave Emery better players, most notably Eden Hazard, i'm sure he'll have us back to the status quo, while not abandoning the team's offensive play.

No future replacement is perfect, all managers have their flaws, but I think Emery should be our guy.

Think he'd be able to get the most out of our current squad and the youngster's as constituted, seeing as how we most likely won't be adding many or any top WC players in the summer.

The things that he mentioned can happen every game. EVERY GAME. But he went 9 straight years (!!!) without losing a home game in the league DESPITE things mentioned above that certainly happened during that 150 game streak. And now he's talking like when any bit of hurdle occurs then you're dead, you lose home games for fun because you had bad luck or something didn't go your way. How can one man sometime ago went with such a record when he's so vulnerable to everything ?

to have players like hazard, willian, pedro and not play attacking football is not an option. with such players, you HAVE to play attacking football.

as for certificates, and proven success, they mean NOTHING, when you cant put in a team on merit. when you have no MERITOCRACY in your squad, this is the least that will happen.

Your just a Mourinho apologist mate I can't take anything you post seriously. Take your head out of the sand and have a good look at our predicament. We are in real danger of being dragged into a relegation battle and there's only one person to blame for that. When you start a game with no recognised forward against fucking Bournemouth at home then you reap what you sow.

Mourinho is part of the Chelsea family, so yes, i'm backing him till the end. Especially when there are just insults and no reasoning!

But that doesn't mean that i agree with every decisions he made, but almost every coach in the recent years made bad judgement calls, one can find reasons to kick it up their ass. Very easy and populist, don't like it, not constructive and clearly not helping the course.

The match against Porto is surely going to be make-or-break for Mourinho after this; I'm not sure that he will be able to keep his job if we drop out of the CL at the group stage as well. Weirdly, though, I actually agree with those who think that entry into the EL might be the only way to prevent this awful season from having an unwelcome knock-on effect on our next season; if we win the EL, we are right back in next season's CL (and with a trophy to boot).

Having said that, if we continue to play like this during the second half of the season, we can forget about winning any trophies whatsoever (apart from the obvious ones that the media and rival supporters will be all too willing to dish out at the end of the season ).
