Last Sicarius 610
We just need to rebuild our core in team. We lost many legends(for example Cech and Drogba), so we need to replace them or change our mentality. mccg

Jase 43,479
There is not much he can do these days to be honest, i won´t blame him ... before we had the likes of Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Makelele, etc many leaders on the pitch who could motivate the team when needed, but tell who can do that now in this current lot?If you are a leader, you should be able to speak, to lead, to galvanize your teammates. You don't need others to be able to do that. Even Terry has looked so disinterested this season.
Popular Post! DYC. 7,542 Posted November 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2015 This sort of stuff is women's gossip magazine level. I can see it now:'Cesc speaks out: Jose wanted me to play bad football. Peter Andre shows his support.'It's terrible. They can 'release' all kinds of stories now. I'm waiting for the Mourinho caught Hazard, wearing a bunny outfit, and his daughter covered in strawberry syrup, and Mourinho went through Oscar's phone and found disturbing pictures of Oscar, his wife and his sister involving wet celery, a flying helmet and an egg whisk stories.I'm sure Chelsea will be responsible for a substantial amount of the earnings of the papers the coming weeks. Keep em coming. Soofi, Adnane, Johnnyeye and 5 others

robsblubot 3,595
I don't think the term 'merit' is very subjective here. Players are judged based on their form and performances on the pitch and if you are playing well, you deserve to start. If not, you don't. It's not rocket science. If we're going to use that point in every debate, then we might as well not discuss anything at all since that's like an excuse for saying we don't know anything about football. Hence, we shouldn't talk about it because we aren't coaches etc. Even managers are humans and just like any human, they make mistakes, can be stubborn etc. I don't see how one can defend Mourinho for his continuous selection of Ivanovic (for instance) all season (until he got injured) really. His defending hasn't been anywhere good enough and he has cost us so many goals and yet, Mourinho's logic for playing him is because he is tall and that. Any other player who does that and we won't see them again for weeks/months.It may sound like a superficial thing to say but it's all about weighing the options and see who can at least do a decent job. Besides, it's extremely non-progressive to see Mourinho play a RB at LB and CB at RB all the time.He has tried to tweak things here and there and that I don't disagree but perhaps the problem here isn't that. Maybe it's more of a psychological or confidence issue. And it's not betting on an unknown but giving the players belief, putting faith in some of the others (getting them to put 110% effort can go a long way to compensate for a lack of quality). Man-management. Don't think Mourinho has really excelled in that, especially in this crisis. He seems more concerned about picking fights with everyone - people within the club, referees, journalists, managers etc.Yes Jose brought a lot of it on his own no doubt. That's the manager he's been though Diego Costa manager version. On the other points I'd call personal preferences and yes I do disagree as I believe merit is very subjective. Especially because we don't hear the instructions/aka requirements. My point isn't that we are not supposed to disagree with him, but calling him crazy, quack, or stupid is ... Crazy and I never liked him as a manager .We also do t know the restrictions he's been under. Perhaps he's not the one pushing for a smaller squad for ex. Popular Post! Henrique 9,133 Posted November 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2015 Fabio Capello would be joke. Even worst than Benitez appointment. I remember during Benitez days, when the team was being dominated, he waited at least 30 minutes to make his first sub in the second half.I rather let Mourinho stay than appoint Capello. Miguelito 459
Hearing match going fans continously sing his name was really good to hear and luckily shows the true atmosphere amongst the majority of fans in the Bridge and demonstrates that people can analyze things for themselves, not develop a stance based on toxic reports written by journalists who base facts on Twitter or "inside info".I get what you mean, but the last part of the sentence can go either way. If the majority of match going fans are singing his name, that doesn't mean they are thinking and analyzing for themselves. In fact, it could be quite the opposite. These fans could be singing his name just because those around in the stadium are. That's just as easy, if not more easy than people developing stance based on journalists. Either way though, it's very obvious that there is way too many well thought out and explanatory posts in the thread on why people want him gone to say there is not a lot of us thinking on our own. You can't generalize the match going fans opinions to all Chelsea fans. Miki-Liki
Muzchap 8,966
Fair play to Cesc if he is moaning about the shit football I thought Mou said nobody has balls in his team? Looks like Mou meant he is the one with no balls - too scared to play attacking football, too egotistical to admit he might be wrong...Fair play to the players - if they feel they could do better - then let them - if that requires a new manager, so be it.Players are asked to change and adapt constantly - the same has to be said of the manager.
