Fulham Broadway 17,810
Not sure if it's already been posted. Martin Samuel's take on things...http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3299462/What-season-s-Premier-League-win-blip-Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-s-players-aren-t-good.htmlGood readFor there is another way of looking at this debacle — although it won't have occurred to those secretly revelling in Mourinho's downfall. It's not him, it's them. It isn't Mourinho who is the obvious underperformer, but his team. Who has the true c.v. of substance here? Nemanja Matic, for instance, with his one fine season in English football, or Mourinho's eight national titles and three European trophies across four countries? What if last year, not this, was the exception? What if Chelsea overachieved when winning the league, swept along by Mourinho's astute organisation and one last, inspirational turn from captain John Terry? What if 2014-15 is the only season Eden Hazard is Footballer of the Year? That makes Mourinho the genius, not the jinx.He won the league with this lot? He won the league with a team now playing like the poorest champions in history? He won with single-season wonders, and old men, and players with a greatly inflated regard for their abilities and options? If there are rebels inside Mourinho's camp, this is what they have failed to consider. That onlookers — managers and owners at other clubs, in particular — will wonder what is the real Chelsea. Essien19 and stroey

Popular Post! supporter 3,088 Posted November 2, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2015 Jose I trust, and I have the feeling that our players are with him because I can see our frustration on their faces. Maybe one, two or three players can be against Jose, but IMO most of our players trust him and they want to win again as quickly as possible. All this history of "I'd rather lose than win for him "is just cheap philosophy. The press always invents stupid stories to generate noise. It's like when they say: "Ronaldo or Messi are looking for a school in London for their children for next year because he is coming to play with Chelsea next season." All bullshit. The memory is very small in football, but Jose is One of US, someone who feels the club as if he were a true fan. A man with whom we won the Premier League last season. It would be a sign of weakness to try to reconstruct our project at midseason.Guardiola loves F.C. Barcelona. Simeone loves Atletico de Madrid. Conte loves Juventus. And Jose loves Chelsea. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.IMO The season is very long and Jose will shut many mouths in May. And who smiles the last, smiles better. Cosmin 2,484
Guardiola, Simeone, Conte and Slutsky are the candidates to replace Jose.(Telegraph)I really really don't want Simeone as manager. I don't think he would bring much of a change in terms of playing style and tactics. I wouldn't say no to Guardiola, because I know that he would ask for some big signings before putting his name on a contract. And we really need big signings, let's be honest.Conte is not an option and I don't think Slutsky is right for us, he doesn't have any experience in the big European leagues. If Guardiola doesn't want to come here, I would rather want us to go for Marcelo Bielsa, Rudi Garcia or (why not?) Tony Pulis.

Pizy 19,377
Seems inevitable that he'll be gone now, huh? I trust what Dan Levene says and a few other well respected journo's.I have a terrible feeling we'll appoint the wrong man. Conte is the latest name I'm seeing. Please no... Special Juan 28,867
In my honest thoughts I think he's done. BXL70 400
Mou will be sacked next Monday. His behaviour and tactics have been dreadful. Some players should leave as well. Big clean up is needed. That team is polluted by too many medium-quality players. couris

I think regardless of backing which to me was more a PR kick than anything, the replacement has been sounded out and the wheels are in motion.Agreed. Even though a couple weeks back I said I don't think Ancelotti coming back is the solution, hearing about all these alternatives being banded around, I'd have him over any of them.Miguel Delaney made a good point the other day about Ancelotti being the antithesis of Mourinho. He'd bring a calm to both the dressing room and the club as a whole and knows what it takes in this league. Demands instant respect from the players and I'm sure they'd respond to his tactics straight away after dealing with José's for so long. Blue_Fox_ 2,086
Whatever it is, i hope the next manager picks it up from where we left at the end of last season. Especially with the youngsters, i hope RLC, Traoré, Kenedy and Zouma will get same/more amount of minutes and will intregate the likes of Pasalic and Van Ginkel.Tbf, i'm disgusted, it's a circus right now, media are being allowed to vomit whatever bullshit they want about us.Also, i'll make a prediction about our next manager, when we'll part ways with him, it'll be because he's been sacked. Let's do it over and over and over again. Adnane
BXL70 400
Guardiola, Simeone, etc won't leave their clubs in the middle of the season to join Chelsea.Even worse, which world class manager would take the risk of coming to Chelsea with the perspective of being sacked 6 months later?Having said that, we would be better off at this point in time with an interim manager than with the Mou. He lost the dressing room or at least some key players. Hazard is one of the rebel.

nullabletype 987
My gripe with these predictions as to when Mourinho is going is that regardless of how great a source you believe your journo of choice to be, they're nearly all taking the scatter gun approach. If they guess he'll be gone after every game, eventually one of them is going to be correct. Azul, Essien19, Muzchap and 1 other
