Styles 9,790
Yes she was doing her job, like I said and have stated, but why, why take to social media when the power of her 'doing the job' was strong enough? She was going to the field and doing what she is paid for, to take to social media was fucking stupid, and put herself in this position because it became a 'Me v's them' mentality. And we are where we are, right now.But how? What is so 'fucking stupid' about saying thank you people sending you messages of support?
Special Juan 28,141
Jose has a go at the medical staff for doing their jobEva takes to social media after a major event and postsBoth fucking stupid beyond belief.Deal with it in house and behind close doors, don't take to social media and have a bit of savvy about yourself. Special Juan 28,141
But how? What is so 'fucking stupid' about saying thank you people sending you messages of support?High profile physio in the spotlight without controversy never mind not in the spotlight, and she comes out after a major display by the manager of the team to say thanks for the support....In life you let sleeping dogs lie, if she wanted to say something you do it behind closed doors. She has been just as naive as jose by taking to social media and saying 'thanks' because like I said, and I will say it again it's brings a sieged mentality!! kellzfresh
Laylabelle 9,534
That's the thing could've been dealt with easily and quickly without being the huge thing it has.Issue out of nothing to start with yet some whole crazy debate/issue.If someone needs attention Sunday then way more be said on it... Belgiannutt 3,201
Mourinho is responsible for this whole circus.Losing his shit because our medical staff were doing their job.Publicly criticizing the medical staff. He could have just deflected the question but no he had to go and make it into the shitstorm it has now become.I don't really see much wrong with Eva's post. She thanked people for their support on the matter. Not exactly like she told Jose to f*** off. Some of the arguments are ridiculous."People wouldn't care about this if she wasn't a hot/popular women" : Such bs. I can honestly say that i would feel the exact same way about this if our club physio was a fat, bald guy.All the feminists can also crawl back under the rock they came from as Jose would have reacted the exact same way if it were a guy. Gender played no part in this circus. This is about right or wrong not man or women."Jose is the best manager ever while Eva is just a physio. she's replaceable, he's not." : Utter crap this. This isn't about who's more replaceable or who has more power. Again, this is about right or wrong."She shouldn't posted that tweet on facebook (or twitter or whatever)" : Well guess what, when you publicly criticize a person they might not like it, like at all. It's the same thing when your boss tears you a new asshole in front of your colleagues or if your parent berate you in front of your friends.Nobody likes getting criticized but getting criticized in public just adds a whole new layer of embarrassement to the mix.All this s*** should have just been kept and dealt with in-house. Stingray 9,441
No but the corporate business Chelsea FC is.From the academy (sic), to the megastore, it is all about maximsing profit and efficiency. People here now are in moral turmoil, and the dilemma for the manginas is clouded by the fact the 'victim' has tits and a minge. Not for me. The ultra-corporatism is a true issue in the club i love. I do not want to go this road. No super exell management. I want feels and a long term project.

Aint gonna change anytime soon with all the TV revenue. The only alternative for people is to support their local grass roots clubs where they live. nullabletype
MrBlueGuy 1,552
She wants a public apology and considering suing Josehttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-3195658/Jose-Mourinho-stands-firm-Chelsea-won-t-reinstate-Eva-Carneiro.htmlReally hope this is not true, as it would be one of ugliest mess of our season so early in. HD3D 1,038
Of course the media are it, they love it, but for one second think about this.....A player is down and needs attention, the medical staff rise from their position and dart on the field, following that they are completely chastised for doing their job, in public and in front of a world wide audience. Who is at fault here? The manager's argument is that the player never needed nor asked for medical attention in the first place. darrus
gr123 167
The manager's argument is that the player never needed nor asked for medical attention in the first place. In which case why wasn't Hazard given shit for his actions? The ref twice waved in the medical staff, what we're they supposed to do?Don't get me wrong, I love Mourinho for obvious reasons but at times he's a knob and an embarrassment. Would be nice to see a season without a PR disaster for the club, couldn't even manage a day. zolayes

ice-boy 165
8 news for this "row" fucking 8. stupid DMhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/index.htmlhttp://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-medical-staffs-treatment-appalling-6242129Mourinho continues to have the backing of Chelsea hierarchy. It is believed the controversy at Stamford Bridge last weekend was the far from the first time that Mourinho has been unhappy about his medical team.Chelsea have yet to confirm who will take the places of Carneiro and Fearn on the team bench for Sunday’s game at Manchester City. But it is understood the club will confirm this week that they were unhappy withCarneiro’s decision to acknowledge the support she had received over the row on Facebook. nullabletype 987
That's really ignorant from Martin Samuel. Yes, players do go down late on in matches because they are knackered but just because that's the case most of the time, it doesn't mean players don't pick up injury from such situations. How can he, Mourinho or anyone else be sure that Hazard didn't get an injury, especially when he's the player who gets kicked most of the time? If Hazard had actually picked up an injury but wasn't treated at the time and something happened to him later, then what - we would be pointing fingers at others, no? It's just like I said yesterday, Mourinho wouldn't have made a fuss about this if we were winning the match when Hazard called for medical attention but because we weren't, he decided he needed something (or someone in this case) to divert the attention away from the result and performance. You're correct, José probably wouldn't have complained if we were winning. I believe that's the entire point...He said, which is what the piece by Martin Samuel acknowledges, that he wants the medical staff to have awareness of the game. Having awareness would be not coming on to the pitch after an innocuous incident when he needs all hands on deck. The piece points out, I think correctly, that José doesn't require a medical degree to tell a horrendous challenge from a light one. That's a fairly straight forward footballing decision. There's no point acting like every challenge should be treated equally by medical staff when we know they don't come on for every issue. I mean 9 times out 10 we can usually differentiate for ourselves sitting at home watching it. So no, he wouldn't complain if we were winning, because he'd want the medical staff to come on and run the clock down, and he expects them to understand this. darrus
