Unfortunately, recent years he had to stay away from the Bridge but I remember the moments when he was cheering for Chelsea like a kid.. He truly cared.

gonna miss him, at the same time i am really fearful of the new owner. we can easily get fucked over for the future. there are a lot more bad owners than good ones.

I knew in my right mind this was inevitable but this is heartbreaking. We have lost the best owner in the world football . He was rushed to sell and he sold us to biggest bidder. But this new bidder will have to invest if he wants us to become profitable. And he will have to find people who will make the right decisions unlike Marina. 

We won't be anyone's cash cow. We simply cant. We don't have big stadium. We don't have big fanbase.  To get money we need to remain competitive, playing in the CL. Why would anyone pay billions  to own midtable club when he could spend couple hundreds to own midtable club. With bigger stadium. 

However if RA forgave us debt and sold us for couple hundred millions, that is all another story. 

Sad day. We lost the owner who truly loved and cared for the club. That is the loss we will never be able to overcome.

I am sooo devasted and heartbroken that our Roman has to leave Chelsea because the shit English media and government put so much pressure on Roman to sell. What idiots. They forgot how much Roman did for Chelsea and for the City of a London, especially during Coman years d. But they hated him from day one because he is Russian. 

Roman is a true hero for donating the profit to ukrainian people that need it. I will always miss Roman. We will never be the same without him. At least he went away with another CL trophy and now he won every trophy there is to win.

Seriously, though, Roman is being run out of town for his mere connection to Putin. He is not involved in any government or military capacity. He hasn’t supported or expressed support for this war.
 

So why aren’t the English press and government aggressively going after the other ultra shady owners?

That was almost always going to happen when they both came in and have worked under Roman for years.

Anyone looking to buy with some common sense would try to convince Marina to stay on, even if it's in the short term.

Regarding Tuchel so long as he wants to stay on I don't see anything happening to him. I think who ever buys the club knows they have an uphill struggle to convince and appease the fanbase and retaining Tuchel surely has to be of the upmost importance.

Before the game tonight on BBC, Lineker read out Roman's statement. The parts relating to donating money were pretty much brushed aside and Alan Shearer was still moaning he still hasn't made a condemnation of what Russia has done.

The front of someone who probably would have accepted Putin himself taking over Newcastle from Mike Ashley, but I suppose settling for a regime with similar question marks hanging over them is quite frankly the height of hypocrisy but that's this country to a tee to be honest.
