The only real quality one I can remember is towards the end where Cole cleared off. Otherwise, it's usually just putting in crosses or drawing fouls and lump the ball into the penalty box. Wouldn't mind them doing the same next week.

They do the one-touch passing game well. Decent movement.

Oh, and diving/complaining, they do that very fucking well indeed.

Kalou played really well tonight, you're being very harsh. Forget the goal, name me one player on our books who would have performed better. There are amoebas on undiscovered planets that would make better wingers than Dan Sturridge, and Malouda is probably the most selfish winger in Europe.

Oh yeah, never mentioned their constant theatrics. I would say typical Portuguese cheats but did they even have 1 Portuguese player? We had more than them lmao! Their diving and appealing and rolling around was absolutely shocking. The ref bought it a couple of times but had a decent game considering the noisy crowd.

Every team playing Champions Leagues games tonight had Portuguese players in their starting line up with the exception of Benfica.
