Helicopters were flying, people were at the airports, there was a loud crowd outside the bridge. This all late at night ! Someone has to take responsibility for all these strikers failing and in my opinion Lampard has been failing his duties as a midfielder. No matter what you say, 1 assist just won't cut it. I'm sorry folks, just telling you the way it is. As much as I love Lampard, it is time to go. Lampard + Mikel tries to bore the opposition into submission.

Torres is shit actually, but no need to really insult him like that lol. Even Kalou doesn't deserve that. Up till the last two years my cousin always insulted me on the phone since I used to tell him Torres will eventually come good. Now I don't have the heart to argue with him anymore lol.

It was still our own fault though. Torres was already declining in his last year at Liverpool wasn't he ? His last year in Liverpool he had 9 goals in 26 appearances. Not woeful, but not Torres standard since he got 22 in 32 appearances the year before that. This is what made the transfer fee so comical exactly. In a way we actually helped Liverpool get rid of a declining player and they went on to get Suarez.

What is his future here exactly ? Who will want to take his wages on ? It will be a major challenge in my opinion just to move him. It is amazing really how good clubs like Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Bayern etc are with their money. They obviously don't have to pay the billionaire's surcharge that Roman does in every transfer but they also don't seem to have the same amount of duds and always are able to find diamonds in the rough. This time we have to be really careful when selecting the new striker. I don't think I'll be able to relive the Torres drama.
