Popular Post! Iggy Doonican 4,187 Posted August 9, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted August 9, 2016 In 2002-3 the season before Roman came we were so skint our transfer outlay was £500,000 on Oliveria and a free transfer in De Lucas. Since then we have spent millions upon millions on new players and had unparalleled success. Now we can no longer spend that amount of money my advice is learn to live with it. We have hopefully a new Bridge on the way which is going to cost a fortune and as someone who has been going to Stamford Bridge since 1975 I am delighted that we are staying In 2003 even with that minuscule amount spent on players we still managed to finish fourth and as Leicester have proved you don't need to flash the cash to win trophies. Man City were lucky that they were basically given a new ground by Manchester council so the infrastructure was in place when they were taken over. If we have a few lean years so be it believe me last year was fuck all to some we've had in the past. blueblood22 50
Swansea City have agreed a club-record £15m fee for Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston, according to Sky sources. he is 23 year old, scored 18 goals least season in the la liga and two seasons ago he scored 22 goals, why the hell we didn't bought him and sold costa? it's a great price and like that we could had extra money to bring a LB and CB. Do you think Simeone would let him go if he was that good? And of all the teams in this world, he ends up at Swansea. He's clearly not good enough, especially not good enough to replace Diego Costa lol. It's like comparing Shelvey and Iniesta. I really dont agree with comments like this Theres many more reasons why a club sell a player on than he was just not good enough. You just need to look at our recent past to realize that mate. blueblood22 and Essien19
King11Didier 916
If Conte really wants a new striker he can ask City for Bony. He is not included in their CL squad and he will leave almost 100%. He won't be a bad transfer, I'm just not sure if we need another striker.

Don't you think he'd have at least taken Borja Baston for the pre-season friendlies had he rated him? Fernando

Special Juan 28,871
Everton on the verge of signing Bolasie. Good signing that, I won't mention the price because right now it's completely fucking pointless, prices don't mean fuck all now. cfcs most wanted 657
I don't know why, but it hurts to see John Stones in City. It may be because of our long pursuit of him and i know he is not worth it. Yet, it feels bad.
Bir_CFC 3,455
It sucks that we made huge offers for both Pogba and Stones and now they're both at the Manchester clubs.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Hope im wrong but have this horrible feeling we are done, bar outgoings. Seems we are going to put all our CB eggs in Koulibaly's basket and it'll not happen. Same with Lukaku for ST

Laylabelle 9,754
Crazy money but guess gotta spend to win these days. Wouldn't surprise me if we sign some random pricey player last day who we dont need just for the hell of it...or most likely go into the season with same squad same issues and wonder why results are coming in,,, kellzfresh
