DH1988 1,356
That is absolutely mental. From Conte's perspective, this does his stock no good, what can he do? What can they spend? Realistically sell Kane and invest in Vla at Fio... Then...? Wow. If I were Conte I'd of waited for United of course. Terrible decision. Whatever Levy would not give him in the summer, he will probably get now. Still joining Spurs of all teams would make one think Conte is desperate for a job in a moment when his stock is at all time high. He should be comfortable waiting for a better option to become available. In retrospect seeing him leave his Serie A winning Inter just to sign for Spurs a couple of months later is a massive downgrade. Fernando 6,743
Looking forward to have Conte in the league. The more top coaches the better, more competition. Going to be fun ZAPHOD2319
milka 3,407
Tottenham strongly want to become Chelsea by taking former managers, but usually ends up like that Atomiswave

Fulham Broadway 17,810
Conte will want to spend big, and Levy wont -what could go wrong ?
Magic Lamps 11,692
Conte at Spurs is much easier to handle than at ManUre from a pure rational perspective but it does itch me a little bit that he would go to a rival despite how much he is still revered by Chelsea fans. Anyway, there is not much loyalty left in footy, esp from managers. cheers Nuno for beating City tho. Really weird why Levy is so trigger happy now after giving worse managers like Mou, Jol and Ramos years. Might be smth personal behind that as well. Like Nuno, does well without the massive ego players that populate the 'big' teams but unlikely to get much silverware OhForAGreavsie
MoroccanBlue 5,408
Think we are all forgetting a crucial factor, even before taking into considering Conte and Levy butting heads. Will the Spurs players want yet another conservative manager?
Jase 43,479
Spurs must be really desperate and are gonna give in to Conte's demands if the move is really gonna happen this time. Otherwise, what a waste that Conte went from Inter to this.

His connection here was never really going to stop him from doing things.

Are we really surprised that he's willing to go to Spurs? Blue Armour and OneMoSalah
