People here and on Twitter who have been moaning lately about Sarri have to remember that it took Klopp all the way until now to create this fantastic side. People were saying Brendan Rodgers v2 not long ago pointing to their identical records through 2 seasons of whatever it was. Pep was also infamously called a "bald fraud" as sort of a meme when he first came to the PL.

Hopefully if we finish in the top 4 we can make a similar step up.

That's it. Klopp was given time and money to build to this level. I hope out club can do the same. If after a while and some spending its not working then maybe look elsewhere but for now patience and all.. Which probably won't happen again

Difference is Klopp proved he could do it before. Against a side with infinitely more funds and prestige in a league which was a one horse race in most cases. Even in the best of cases Sarri hasnt shown he should be afforded as long of a leash as Klopp was.Staying close to Juventus one year isnt enough honestly.

Every fantastic side is a side with the mostly the same players over 2-3 seasons.

fans simply don’t value chemistry that highly. Prob too intangible, but it’s evidently important.

Salah, Mane and Firmino have not been around together that long, but they are absolutely fantastic. The way they link up, move positions and work in defence is brilliant. They are so easy going, but efficient, its scary.

VVD is there since january and after couple weeks he became rock solid and made their defence 3 times better.

They realy hit the jackpot with their recent signings.

But the real reason is Klopp who is managing them absolutely perfectly. Take a look how he handled Fabinho. Utter bad in first games, so he simply benched him not to lose confidence, but didnt give up on him and worked him in training. Since december, he is realy improving. Compare that to how we handled Bakayoko.

They are 9 points clear and they have been playing Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner in midfield. Credit where its due.

Agree with all of this except the fabinho part. Seems a bit of an exaggeration. It wasn't that he didn't play well at first, it was that he literally didn't play at all the first 8 gameweeks.

You can't say he improved because there was nothing to compare it to. He was good in one game against United (and they were in a disarray, so that shouldn't be hard). But he's been very average every other one. Even today he was there worst player. The commentators after the game called him excellent, but that's simply not true. They won 5-1 so it's almost impossible to have a bad game. But he was pretty close to having one.

Klopp deserves all the praise he is getting, but I don't think he's improved fabinho at all yet or that not playing at the beginning was a stroke of genius. It's more like he knows fabinho isn't very good and has started to play him more now that the fixtures have piled up. Keita isn't built for a two man midfield with wijnaldum, so when shaqiri especially is playing, the more defensive fabinho makes sense.

Salah for all his scoring feats sure is a pussy diver, falls down like he's been shot, can't stand him one bit, if Keane was still playing Salah would be on a stretcher right now.

most pool players fall at the slightest touch and the fuking refs buy it.

Diverpool.

Did you not see Salah's first goal against Bournemouth?

There were a number of calls he didn't get last season for staying on his feet, so I guess it's working now.

This is a dive -

Sure, but players gel at their own time and I did not say you aren’t allowed to improve here and there esp when a quality player becomes available, like vvd.

still a bit early to call it tho. City is in a slump, but they are recovering their best player, so they will come out stronger.

and then there is the real target: Europe which Liverpool is def more ready with quality subs this time around. Yet the teams who win are always the ones playing together for a long time.

not sure I understand your point about bakayoko. He’s a bad player (for us) and needed going - our midfield is 10x stronger without him.
