There was some sort of confusion and he didn't present himself to the team and had dinner with his wife instead, but the next day in the morning he was there.

He said if he had known he should be there the previous night he would have. Nobody accepted his apologies.

one of the best things about football is rivalry. It's when you make fun of your coworkers or mates at school on Monday because your team raped theirs, or won 1x0 with a pen at 95'. Or when you make fun of them because their team lost to nobodies. Or when you're in a bad mood because your rival won't lose one match.

You take that away from football and all left is plastic... plastic sport, plastic fans...

Hating your rivals almost as much as you love your team really adds to the thrill.

Only the casual football fan (or plastic as others call) don't care about those things. It's part of the magic of this amazing thing called footie!

Read my post more carefully and you'll find I don't dislike rivalries at all. Healthy ones.

you're right, there was the injury thing, he didn't present himself. All I know is that Marin said it was because he had dinner with his wife when he publicly apologized saying he wouldn't be having dinner with his wife if he were supposed to be with the team

in his defense, Weckerz is always fair in his assessments, he accepts criticism towards Belgian fans* just fine and he's one very nice lad.

I always look forward to his opinion in general, but especially on Belgians players because I know it's reliable and not some delusional stuff. Proof of much is that he just agreed that Villa's Belgian is more technical than ours. Which is absolutely true and doesn't change the fact both can grow in that department. But you picked the wrong guy in this example, although you do have a point (in the criticism part [though I wouldn't say is ridic], not the Hazard part, many of them are here for longer than that)

Fact is, you can't make one post about a Belgian player without a Belgian on the forum quoting you and slagging you off about it. Lukaku is a good dribbler and at least has a decent pass on him. Benteke without his physical ability is like a donkey. I knew for a certain fact when I made that post I would of been quoted.

I enjoy the fan base actually, I like that we are getting more fans, even if you supported the team 5 minutes ago, but seriously this constant defending needs to stop.

I know mate, but we had the worst trolls as well .... Remember Bitee, and that weird toothguy and few others. They make up for some/most of that shit. Even now i see new blood coming still in need of weeding. But time will do that eventually.

Am I the only one who doesn't see what all the fuss about Coutinho is? Sure, he's very good on the ball and has an eye for a pass, but he often over-dribbles, can't defend and his work-rate is terrible. He leaves his fullback complete exposed and it gets exploited by opposition. In the first half, 53% of Stoke's attacks came from the right, Coutinho's side, while only 18% came from the left.

True. Any player who doesn't put any defensive work, uses all his energy only at attacking and looks extra better than other hardworkers who put some energy to defend because of that
