This does n't count.
I can score those Jackson goals.
Still we outplayed them when they were 11.

The bolded stands out for me. Aside from the opening 7-8 mins, we were the better side, had two goals ruled offside (second one still seemed extremely harsh).

We've played three sides fighting for Top 4 and arguably been the better side in all three games, which is a small positive in itself. It will be interesting to see who turns up against City, though.

We got the win, but man, we're such a trainwreck of a team. Super embarrassing to watch a 9 men Spuds team going at us.

The thing is.

We have outplayed Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. We have lost to relegation sides and shit house teams. We have had rotten luck.

Our team screams of uber talented youngsters who don't have game sense quite yet. The fact we are competing with the top teams but seem out of ideas against the lower comp is actually a positive. It just screams inexperience, and not that we are a bad team.

Becoming flat track bullies is something you do when you become great. We have the other part already, just need to be smarter with age and experience.

One of the weirdest games ever. Could nkt watch in full but what I saw was chaotic We should obviously have used our pace better and scored more vs 9 but a win is a win, vs spuds all the sweeter.

classic Jackson to score a Hattie and then fk up an easy chance, hopefully it still gives him confidence. Thought our midfield was ok but still so much immaturity all over the pitch.
At least we can score from open play albeit against 9…

still a nice training exercise. learning to make your advantage count and take the right decisions is always helpful when playing on the counter and we played the right risky through ball on numerous occasions

Not totally ordinary game, but when was the last time any of out players actually scored 3 goals in one game? Must have been years.

Thought it was Pulisic against Burnley.  But looked it up turns out it was 'the boy who had a dream' against Norwich in 2021
