I'm seeing all over the Internet, our fans going crazy with joy that Lampard has been appointed and that its the best decision our new owners have made...!!!

I knew our fanbase was in the lower end of the average I.Q. when it comes to football but this is a new all time low.

I’m personally still really hopeful that we buy Felix permanently so Lamps coming in with Mase in his plans and dropping him would totally sour him on the idea of staying behind this season. And with rumors already starting linking him to United it would be annoying as fuck to see him haunting us for a rival because we pushed him out.

Irrespective of Mount, we're so incredibly toothless in front of goal, and it's hardly like Felix has made himself undroppable. Absolutely under no circumstances should we be splashing out circa £80m on Felix. Lots of style but unfortunately just not enough substance to justify the price tag.

I'm trying to look at this in the same way. It feels like the whole club is just in a general air of malaise, arguably since the sanctions started and that translates to the pitch and players also.

If there is one thing I hope that Lampard can do, it's to re-energise the atmosphere at the Bridge and to make it abundantly clear what it means to play for this football club. Nobody is expecting some tactical masterclass!

I don't believe Frank will make us any worse and that's good enough for until the end of the season. Main priority is avoiding relegation and I'm not joking saying that, with Potter that was a real possibility.

Yeah, the "backroom staff" seemed to contribute a lot to Frank's demise here - the training was subpar and injuries amount frightening. Hope he won't go full on to returning to this bunch.

There was no possibility at this point.

We'd have had to pick up less than 3 points from now till the end while seven teams suddenly found form that's been escaping them all season.

It would have taken a totally unprecedented run of results, even with Potter.

Curiously, I am not worried about Lamps and I am happy that he will get the chance to finally get a proper send-off from the fans.

What makes me anxious is the lack of certitude regarding the next permanent manager. There is a feeling that we could he in for a surprise. And not a nice one.

I would be calmer if I had the certainty that it’s between Enrique and Nagelsmann. I am not a fan of neither of them, but they would be decent options after all.
