Special Juan 28,141
Think the crowd will be up for this, but not sure if the players will be. Tie isn't over and it will be tough- fancy us 2-

I would prefer him playing on the left as well rather than the right. We don't play to his strengths at all when he is on the right. He will defo be starting anyway: https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/potter-keen-to-unleash-sterling-on-dortmund
Pizy 18,907
Do wonder how we line up at the back since Badiashile is out. Can’t recall if Trev has ever played on the left of a back 3 and to play him in an unfamiliar position for the biggest game of our season when he hasn’t played much lately seems unwise. So I wonder if we just slide KK over to the left where he has played a lot, have Fofana in the center, and Trev on the right. Or if we just revert to a back 4 again. What I’m most concerned about is the nerves our players will have knowing that if Dortmund score first and early in the match the tie might be over since we’re so incredibly goal shy. It’s absolutely imperative that we score first and make them start to sweat. Hope Mudryk starts this one. I would drop Kai and play Felix as the false 9 with Mudryk & Sterling either side. We need pace and directness. Stats

Its just the kind of thing we've seen Potter do over and over, rotate for the sake of it and play wingers in those positions while claiming it is not really a wingback position so they shouldn't complain etc (as he did with Sterling). MoroccanBlue 5,382
Havertz got a full 90 on Saturday, will definitely get a full 90 tomorrow and will get a full 90 at the weekend. My god. If I had that type of job security.

NikkiCFC 8,319
Makes sense. Striker should take pens for confidence. But it's not like we have any pens lately. Last one was in October against United I think.

He has been adamant about having a false 9 for a while now, as opposed to having a traditional CF. Even if Havertz isn't the solution, it's at least consistent with his plan. Which says a lot, because he keeps chopping and changing everything else.

I mean Kai really does bring a new meaning to the term false 9, to the point he is that much of one, its like playing with 10 men. Hopefully GP gets the bullet before the end of the season/at the end of the season though. Sick to death of him and whatever he is trying to achieve, he can stick to his guns all he wants but this group has regressed even worse than anybody would of surely thought possible at the beginning of the season and he’s been here for 3/4s of the worst performances. Probably putting my neck on the line saying this but surely one of the worst worst managerial appointments any big club in England has made in the past 25 years. So out of his depth. I mean anybody thinking this spineless, personalityless man is turning us into a top team in the next 2,3 or 4 seasons are fucking delusional. Simple as that. Boehly & co included.
