Gundalf 806
Win percentage under Tuchel this season: 42% Win percentage under Potter this season: 63% Average goals scored under Tuchel this season: 1,1 Average goals scored under Potter this season: 1.7 Average goals conceded under Tuchel this season: 1,4 Average goals conceded under Potter this season: 0,8 Improvement in every aspect in a crazy short amount of time with no real time to actually train bc of the intense time frame. You should not forget how bad we were under Tuchel this season and we should consider this as a long term project with only slight short term improvement. People who are praising Arsenal now would have wanted Arteta gone in the first 2 months ig. Probably the main reason to give him a chance, if any. At least one summer transfer window. Even if someone said that the signs were there with Arteta, I won't forget the turgid football they used to serve for weeks on end during his first two years. On the other hand, this season has gone to shit. Unless the world cup provides a weird reset (probably with the number of players we have coming back)., it's going to be a downward spiral he won't be able to control. At least a little amount of patience should be possible for every manager. I mean, Klopp was called "Klopp the flop" by some Liverpool fans in his first season. Never judge too early. Vesper 30,219
we have HUGE holes everywhere it is hardly Potter's fault I refuse to start trashing him over the shit he has to choose from (for many reasons, especially injuries) manpe and Hamilton

Bren 41
I'd see most of the squad go before Potter. Not because Potter is the messiah (I think he could be good but he still has a lot to prove), but because we have too many incredibly weak-minded players. They are CL winners but equally failed in 4 domestic finals in 2 years (3 FA Cups and a League Cup). There's something about the squad that makes them fall into very negative patterns of play at the smallest setback or slightest sign of resistance from the opponent (counter-pressing, physicality, or whatever). Gundalf 806
We often have these kind of off seasons. But, we always bounce back from this. We finished 10th in 2016 remember, 1 year later we were champion. Lets look forward.
Vesper 30,219
re post is it any wonder we are in the dirt?? Johnnyeye 7,510
just to think that all this shit started because of those fucking sanctions on Abramovich and the club. MoroccanBlue 5,383
If we sign Nkunku, Leao, Enzo, Gvardiol, etc and Potter still manages to try and fit both Mount and Havertz in the team, then Sack him. Johnnyeye

Genuinely disgusts me. Websites like WAGNH have not even given him a sliver of a chance either. This in a nutshell is why we've been on a consistent slow slide downwards for 10 years now. Yes people will turn on him bcos how can a player like Zakaria who put on a match winning performance and scored a goal in the last Chelsea game not even get a few minutes play today. It was so glaring our mid field was weak!!! Potter doesn't have a clue! lucio, Johnnyeye, bigbluewillie and 1 other
Fernando 6,585
Arsenal are doing good now but that's after a very bad season of two with arteta. Now not one bad word. I will still wait for another season. I don't understand the reaction of people here when this was expected from day one.
