Don't want Mourinho.

I would rather take Lampard back then getting Mourinho back.

But as far as coaches available I don't know who to get. If they want short term go with Bielsa, he will do good for a season or two and that's it.

Enrique or Flick.

But would Enrique take on a rebuild and would Flick leave Germanys NT?

What has either of them done to warrant the job?

I hope we don't go after either of them.

The lack of options is just as worrying as the prospect of us not winning the next two games. Utter chaos.

What do you mean? I dont need to copy paste  their CV’s to make the argument that they have the qualifications to get this team playing progressive football and fight for titles.

Who else is avalible and warrant to the job according to you? (No ZZ or Poch)

Won every possible trophy for Barca and Bayern while also playing perfect football. Pep was not close in achievements for Bayern. Flick beats him in every department. Even in Barca. Pep needed Ovrebo and UEFA to win CLs. Enrique triple was way more dominant and clean.

People criticise Enrique for Spain but again semis last EURO solid result and they outplayed Italy in that game.

This WC again dominating games but not much you can do with below average attack. 4 attackers he used because Spain don't have better: Olmo not winger and slow and overrated by some people. Morata we know this already. Asensio and Ferran Torres can't even get minutes in Real and Barca both not good. I mean, we are struggling in attack and no one would even think about wishing any of these players for Chelsea.

As I’ve said before, I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Mou is lobbying hard through his agent and intermediaries for the job. He’d return to a heroes welcome by the match going supporters and most likely would turn us around in the short term. But things would eventually go the way they always go with him.

Depends how desperate Boehly is for short term success. Jose would probably work very well next season but then….?

A heroes welcome? He went to United and Spurs after us. I doubt it. He’s well and truly burnt his bridges I think with a certain percentage of the fanbase and even the English media were even more annoyed by him and his antics in pressers etc. I mean he can still talk the talk but cant walk the walk. Although stranger things have happened.

I get Potter is shite and hilariously out of his depth but Mourinho would be a sideways move more than a step forward and if the football at Roma is anything to go by couldn’t see him lasting too long here either, 31 goals for and 21 against (although ours is still worse).

I'm sorry I don't buy this narrative. Both coaches did well because of the foundation Pep laid.

It's similar to what happen to Chelsea, most managers that came in like Grant did good because of the foundation that Mourinho Mark 1 laid.

Pep is in another galaxy compare to those two you mentioned.

Now Pep has done the same at City, created a great foundation.

What foundation Pep laid?

Bayern won CL just before his arrival and played final season before. He couldn't reach final in any of 3 seasons. So they won CL before and after him, not with him. Also they were struggling in CL years after his departure. He left in 2016, saying Flick won CL in 2020 because of him is ridiculous.

Barca also won CL before Pep, ofc he did some nice moves by removing some players but having Messi, Xavi and Iniesta was major thing and foundation set before his arrival. Even 433 formation was in place.

Doesn’t look like they will win CL or PL this season either. So 4 PL and zero CL in 7 seasons with City is hardly mind blowing especially considering they are always number one favorite. Both previous managers also won PL with way inferior squads. I've been always saying managers can do 3 things. Overachieve, underachieve and do expected. Pep never overachieve with his teams which is hardly possible because he always had top3 teams in Europe. But he did expected and failed more times than not especially in CL.

Ruben Amorin has a 70% win percentage with 99 wins from 143 games at Sporting... thats pretty impressive to be fair.

We’re so down in the dumps right now that yes, I do think Mou returning would excite a lot of our fans and his name would be sung all around the Bridge in his first match back.

It would be an absolutely insane appointment to make but if the hierarchy are desperate enough to stop the slide I wouldn’t be shocked if they turned to him.

Honestly, I haven’t seen a single name linked with us that makes me feel totally confident that they could turn us into a world class side. Enrique, Flick, these random up and comers that have been linked all have big question marks for me. I could see Enrique being a hit or a big time bust.

Poch is probably the one that I’d feel most pleased with I guess. Knows the League inside out and we have the personnel to effectively work in his style.

Mou is nothing to get excited about, I'd go as far as saying stick with potter over Mou.
