I guess it just comes down to how much potential the club sees in each player. That's a fair point. But we still keep up that weird policy of selling our youngsters to fund average signings who are hardly any better. We can only hope this will slowly become a thing of the past going forward. We have enough regrets with a number of players in the USA. 3 minutes ago, We Hate Scouse said: Doesn't Guehi have one too Same deal as Ake (matching clause). I had forgotten about that. Magic Lamps 11,692
read some rumorus from suspect sources that we are in talks for badiashile who is left footed as well and and half a foot taller than ake. have not seen him play much but at 21 he already has about 100 ligue 1 matches under his belt

Vesper 30,272
top valued left footed CB's in T-Markt order bold I rate to buy possibly, if not now, maybe down the road as well Alessandro Bastoni (needs to improve IMHO, he regressed last season) David Alaba Pau Torres Lucas Hernández Aymeric Laporte (big rebound last season, would take him over Ake ALL day long) Presnel Kimpembe (maybe) Gabriel (crazy he is valued above the next two) Josko Gvardiol (plays most times at centre CB in back 3) Nico Schlotterbeck (ffs, still steaming we missed him) Lisandro Martínez dwarf, only 1.75m Evan Ndicka Benoît Badiashile Sven Botman Tyrone Mings Nathan Aké Iñigo Martínez Gonçalo Inácio young Castello Lukeba Mario Hermoso Mohammed Salisu Moussa Niakhaté Abdou Diallo maybe (would make a decent LB option for a backup as well) Federico Dimarco Piero Hincapié Marcos Senesi Alessio Romagnoli Max Kilman David Carmo Attila Szalai Edited July 10, 2022 by Vesper

Of those we have not been linked with yet i am a fan of ndicka and salisu. athletic beasts both of them and increasingly reliabel despite their young age. Gvardiol is Silva’s replacement if we signed him but good enough to start at LCB until then. He had a good peroid, but I remember him rather error-prone, lost and slow decision making (lack of experience perhaps) and not very good on the ball. Didn't he improve in Milan, where he can be more conventional CB and it's less demanding in tactical discipline, but it doesn't really translate to his usefulness here? Geniuenly curious, as I liked the guy, yet he's a move that I don't really regret. I'd like a CB to inspire confidence like Koulibaly does and him + AC would rather inspire my heart skipping a heartbeat (and perhaps Kepa's too) every time they were near the ball. I also remember Baka doing well in Milan. And Piątek. So maybe Milan is not valid measure of quality. Hell, Lukaku was doing well in Inter, so maybe this city is not valid as a whole, lol Edited July 10, 2022 by Vegetable

Geniuenly curious, as I liked the guy, yet he's a move that I don't really regret you cant teach that sort of speed and he is vastly better on the ball now he just need regular playing time Lampard made all our CB's look like shit I think he will end up being a stellar CB in Serie A he already was a huge reason in Milan winning the Scudetto and made some first team all league sides a bit gutted we never got to see him under Tuchel for a full season, but NOTHING like when we sold de Bruyne with no buyback🤬 I will take that to my grave but oh well, best of luck to Tomori, not bitter at all, I wish him well Vegetable and Blue Armour
Pizy 18,985
So is Neymar 100% staying in Paris now? If we’re missing out on Dembele and Raphinha as is looking cortina now, I’d rather we try for him before making a play at CR7.
