Chelsea Transfers

Can confidently say that I'm no more concerned or worried about any club than I was before the window closed. No one that's a threat to us improved significantly.

-United didn't sign the world class CM or CB they needed

-Arsenal didn't sign the world class striker, CB, or DM the needed

-If City lose Aguero to another long injury will Dzeko and Jovetic truly be enough?

Negredo to Valencia official. Loan with option to buy for 30 million euros.

Pretty bewildering decision considering how injury prone Aguero has been in the last year or so and how injury prone Jovetic has been throughout his career. Add that to the inconsistency of Dzeko, it's good news for us no doubt about that.

So much loans in this transfer window, whats happening? Welbeck, Falcao, Hernandez, Torres, Van Ginkel...

FFP, and taking the cue from Chelsea.

After being criticize for revolutionize this technique, now it seems like the cool thing to do nowadays

Locking this thread since there are only 2 notable transfers happening.

Reopening the General Transfer Talk and January Transfer Window threads. Please use those and respective player threads to discuss about the transfers.

It's been a really unproductive day at work so far today. Just flicking through the forum, BBC live updates and Sky lives updates.

Been pretty terrible so far though.

Huth going to Leicester aint a bad deal.

West Ham's £7 million bid for Gomis has been rejected

Huth going to Leicester aint a bad deal.

I've always had a soft spot for Huth ever since he was ours. He always seems like an incredibly fun guy and even though he was never really Chelsea material, he's still a good tough no-nonsense traditional defender.

Not really "transfer" related, but Harry Kane signed a new 5-year deal with Tottenham. There's no denying he's been very good for them, but I can't help but feel that he will fizzle out next season and end up in league one in a few years...
