The TV revenue distribution is correct in my opinion. Yes the top 4 - 6 teams are what drive the revenues but you still need the other 14 teams to make the league and its competitive nature is definitely a selling point in the marketability and brand.

It is also vitally important for the whole football pyramid that these revenues trickle down.

There is certainly an argument on possibly a greater share or greater disparity in payments for league finish, but the overall TV distribution should remain equal.

The parachute payments however I don't agree with as it does create yo-yo teams and disproportionate quality in the Championship. In my opinion it should be a mandatory requirement for clubs to have written into player contracts both wage cuts as a result of relegation (25-50%) and reasonable relegation release clauses. If a club has failed in the Premier League it should be their responsibility to restructure their club in the Championship, not be given a chance to retain the bulk of their team to have a crack at getting straight back up.

Completely agree. People seem to be forgetting that one of the main reasons the PL is the most viewed league is because of the depth of quality. You start making the smaller clubs take less money, then the competitiveness will go down. Chelsea, Dippers, Utd, City don't have a right to just go and plunder any team they want and hamstring them from competing.

I do also agree on the parachute payments. That really needs to be looked at as it distorts competition in the Champo.

Wasn't keen on Dembele anyway. Have a feeling he would go missing for large parts of the season playing in the Prem. I'm open to him proving me wrong but Im certainly not a fan of his behavioural patterns.

Exactly how I feel about him. I am very wary of players that only seem to put their best form together when looking for a new contract/move.

Among the players linked with so far, we should be very careful on who we decide to pick compared to the kind of players we have already. We need a certain upgrade on every dimension not just signing players for the sake of it.

Dembele is quite good but Can he stay injury free and consistent for most part of the season?

Does he posses enough workrate or he only waits for the ball to get to him?

Richardilson to me has high workrate but he ain't better than our current wingers bcos his final ball is not really an upgrade over our current wingers.

Sterling to me is the best option to me, rarely gets injured, consistent good end product for the last 6yrs. Strong n direct.

Raphinha is not an upgrade to me bcos he doesn't score and assist as I would like but he is getting better. It would have been good if he was far cheaper than the proposed fee.

So my suggestion is buy sterling,  Clauss and KK

Give Broja, Dujon sterling and cowil a chance.

I think he would play F9. I think the theory with him is that he'll do the donkey work and actually give us a bit of bite, think DD and Costa. One thing that gets overlooked on DD and Costa was their desire and ability to fight back against CB's that try to bully the front line. Those two actually lead the line by bringing the other players into the game and taking the hits. One of our biggest problems at the moment is that we have too many players that are scared/don't have enough fight in them. Kai did show this a bit in the second half of the season to be fair, but I can see the logic in Richardson even if I am not a fan of his and he isn't someone I would buy myself.

No thanks

In the system we play we need our AMs to be fast and athletic. Eriksen is an anachronistic old school no 10 like from the 90ies. No room for him here

Yea absolutely no room here for a guy you can bring on to totally change the dynamic of a game and switch up play for free is there wtf was I thinking.

Yeah, there's no room in the system Tuchel uses. He is also not suited for a top team's high-pressing demands.

If I remember rightly last season we constantly had possession and could never do anything with it, getting a player like eriksen for free helps any team , doesn't mean he will be a regular starter but would prove highly useful.

The idea that it’s Sterling OR some other attacking player is worrying and I hope false. We need more than a single new attacking player. I just cannot imagine Tuchel being satisfied going into another season living on a hope and prayer that Werner/Pulisic/Ziyech/CHO magically become prolific. It’s just not going to happen.

Whether it’s 2 new attacking mids or a striker + attacking mid, we need a pretty substantial refresh up top. All the reporting and quotes from Boehly  himself have mentioned being smarter and more savvy in recruitment than we were before. Well, signing one of Europe’s most talented wide players on a free and signing one of the title winners key players over recent seasons is savvy and smart.

I'll go back to what I was saying last summer. If there's no one I'd rather wait. We must not panic and just look at the top line again.

Furthermore if we go 433 I feel CHO, Kai and Sterling will be an excellent front 3. Callum will have his creativity (3rd for big chances created and key passes in the league last season) aswell as his natural chemistry with Reece on the right, Kai as false 9 and hopefully an improved goal record and Sterling as a much needed inside forward. Even in a back 3 we could still see that as lot as Mount can't play every game.

De Ligt feels like such a boom or bust signing. He’s young enough and talented enough that he could become world class but for the massive transfer fee Juve would demand he could also be the next super expensive Chelsea flop.

I suppose that bringing him into a back 3 would make things easier for him. If the likes of soft ass Christensen and raw Chalobah can excel in our formation De Ligt should be able to as well.

He has the ability and overall a leaders mentality. Many Juve fans want him to stay and become their future captain. He started of a little poorly there but from what I've read, he has improved alot. I would prefer him over Kounde, he plays with more heart on the field.

True. But from what I’ve read they’ll want like 100m for him? Not sure why it’s even a discussion that anyone will buy him for that.

They are supposedly interested in Pulisic. A swap plus cash deal could be ideal for both.
