I am sure AC Milan is next

we need to raid the fuck out of all three

all of the following in Serie A are good enough to make out first team ad viable targets

obviously all will not happen, most will not

bold are my top buys

Federico Chiesa
Nicolò Barella
Dušan Vlahovic

Lautaro Martínez
Milan Skriniar
Matthijs de Ligt
Theo Hernández
Victor Osimhen
Franck Kessié
Hirving Lozano
Ismaël Bennacer
Leonardo Spinazzola (if fully recovered)
Joakim Maehle

Summary:

-Rudiger is very upset with Chelsea, he would like £180k - £200k a week to stay but Chelsea have only offered him £140k and told him they won't go any higher.

-Christensen has changed his representatives in the last 24 hours which could mean a new contract is imminent, or a transfer is taking place.

-Azpilicueta wants more than one year contract extension at Chelsea and to be playing regular football ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Srsly how long can Rüdiger be upset. The club has apparently not fulfilled his wage demands for ages now. This is all so inflated by the press. Still believe AC will stay, Toni will leave

180K is fair imo, he could easily get more at city united etc

Summary:

-Billy Gilmour cannot be recalled as he has played a number of games to ensure the break clause in his loan deal cannot be triggered.

-Attila Szalai isn't a target.

-The chance of signing a new left back depends on Ben Chilwell's fitness. Chelsea might look at options if Chilwell needs surgery.

-Tchouameni is on Chelsea's list but might happen only in the summer. Real Madrid are interested too.

-Kounde has been scouted since 2019, but the fee remains a hurdle and a transfer is only possible in the summer.

-Chelsea's interest in Fofana is true but they will only make decisions only after he recovers from his injury.

-De Ligt might not be a genuine target as his wages are significantly higher than what Rudiger and Christensen are asking for.

-Tuchel will assess Levi Colwill during next year's pre-season.

-Rice might not happen anytime soon as he's contracted to West Ham till 2024(with an option to extend it by another 12 months) and West Ham won't budge on their £100m asking price.

-Chelsea don't have a buy-back clause on Marc Guehi and Fikayo Tomori.

-Chelsea were interested in Sule last summer but he was only a backup option to Kounde.

In regard to LWB are Emerson or Maatsen possible to recall? If so, can see one of them back if needed. If we need to buy/loan then Dinge must be the most obvious one. Out of favour and knows the PL. Only issue with him is that he has been out of form for about a year.

Been saying for ages, Rice is boxed in. Wet Spam want too much and he still essentially has 3.5 years left. Cannot see a move for him until Summer 2023 at very earliest unless Utd go mental.

With Guehi don't we have some sort of match option? Not sure we will go back for him as it would probably require a transfer request for him and a non-mad bid from someone else which is unlikely due to English tax. Tomori I can see in Italy for a few years, not sure he will move any time soon with the slow pace league and virtually guaranteed CL football. Possibly depends on what he is on.

How come Liverpool always find and buy attacking players who deliver crazy numbers? After Mane and Salah they now have Jota who had 13 goals last season and already 12 this season and it is not even a half season.

All 3 bought for less than 40m pounds. Meanwhile we bought Lukaku for over 100m, Havertz 72m, Werner 47m, Pulisic 58m... And our players were rated much higher.

We celebrated stealing Werner from them yet they bought under the radar player who is doing better.

And somehow I feel if Werner, Pulisic, Havertz are there they would also produce better numbers and play at higher level. And Jota, Mane would struggle here so not sure it is just about players.

If we get Chiesa for 100m they will just find someone like Dennis who will than have better numbers.

I warned people not to buy that nonsense about Liverpool being unable to afford Timo. I warned that it was simply that they didn't want to afford him, and that if they felt he was worth the money they would have found it. I further warned that we are not a preferred destination for players who are in high demand. That if a supposed top player wants to come here it's because he is in fact not wanted by any club he would prefer to join. The implication of these facts is we should not spend big money on supposed stars. We just get fleeced for players who, in reality, are at least one rank down. Instead we need to identify the great players before they establish themselves. Very hard. Even harder now than it was when we found KDB and Moh Salah but it's still our best plan.

The newspaper states: ‘Kimpembe, who feels that, from one season to the next, the clans are reforming, the favouritism returns and the collective withers away, also wonders.’

It’s further stated the France international is ‘wondering if the grass would not be greener in England, in particular at Chelsea’, where his former manager is currently in charge.

Kimpembe seems tempted to join the Premier League side because of the prospect of reuniting with Tuchel at Chelsea.

You're probably not gonna change your mind but Liverpool did want Werner before Jota, according to the reliable sources out there. The only reason things changed for them is because of the pandemic. Liverpool have always been frugal with their spending under FSG, even more so after the pandemic happened. Werner had a release clause at Leipzig, so if someone wants to buy him, they have to pay the whole amount upfront, something that Liverpool were reluctant to do when the pandemic hit. With Jota, he didn't have a release clause at Wolves, meaning Liverpool can negotiate a payment structure with them with small amount of money paid every year etc instead of splashing 50 million in one go without having a clear picture of the financial situation back.
